Has anyone put the 3rd gen Off Road leafs on a 2nd gen SR5/SR? I have some that came with the coilovers and shocks but havent installed them and was wondering if it will lift it any. I got real close to 2 inches in the front when i installed the coilovers. The ass sags and i get bro lean when i have the yeti loaded down in the bed now.

As far as I know there is no difference in the leaf packs. Other than being newer/lower mileage and not sagging as quickly you probably wouldn’t see any benefit.

Mine are definitely thinner and dont have the overload. So thats why i thought it might lift a little.

sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
I know there are different packs- when you look at the oem parts- one is listed as “firm ride”
Just don’t know which truck has those. My guess is the sport...

As a 3rd gen owner whose leafs were sagging after 3k miles I wouldn't bet on that.

The sport is more firm than the OR, so I think you are correct. OR suspension is soft IMO, the Sport stuff is nice and stiff and will match a more stiff aftermarket suspension better. Someone else will probably chime in with more experience with your application though.

I just put some on my 2nd gen. Only because my 2nd gen has the Pre-TSB ones so it can't be any worse.

    Fits perfect .
