I spray the shoot and inside with lithium grease and nothing sticks to it.

I coat the chute with Liquid Wrench or PB Blaster and it does the same. The problem is, my cousin wasn't great with maintenance so I'm fighting 20+ years of neglect.

Looking at all of these snowblowers, makes me not miss mine at all. Nothing like blowing light fluffy snow during a gusty storm to make you long for a heated cab
Tell him it won't start, so you'll hang onto it until you get a mechanic to take a look at it...

I only hate it when it's a slushy mess! If I'm outside and it's snowing I'm happy.

I've had the 4Runner for over a week now, and still discovering the little things. My windshield has defrosters for the wiper blades. I have in-between settings for the hvac fan positions. If I hold the unlock button on the key fob, I can roll down the windows and open the sunroof. Then there's just the stupid things Toyota couldn't be bothered with in the Tacoma, such as the illuminated ring around the ignition. The T4R OR is a luxury vehicle compared to my Tacoma.

Rain x might work but if the paint isn't like new it will have trouble.
I like the lithium grease cause it stays on quiet a long time. And prevents salt and sand build up.
I figure it works on the dirt bike chain so its gotta work on my old snow thrower.

Did I mention the heated 8-way power seats? All of the windows are auto up/down. And the stock radio actuality sounds decent.

I still wish my father listened to me, and bought a 4Runner instead of his Outback, and now he wishes he bought the 4Runner instead! Since he is having a problem with the driver seat (which Subaru already replaced the seat frame at 6k miles, and now it needs another frame at 14k miles), among a couple other things.

When I got my turd gen, I mentioned that it would be nice to have the same seats from my 4runner. Got flamed for being a pansy who thinks he should be able to raise or lower his seat when all he needs to do is tilt his head to a better angle. o_O

The 4runner really is light years ahead of the Taco as far as creature comforts go. Whether I need them or not is a different argument for another day.:fistbump:

Possibly, but I don't go nuts with it. No different than spraying bolts down on a truck before work, you always get a few drops on the ground. The metal soaks a lot of it up, I use a rag to wipe it on so its not just a sopping mess.
I tried Pam in the past, it wouldn't last the storm.
