A bigger hammer! I honestly dont know. Try popping them in the freezer and hopefully the difference in metallurgy will be a big enough difference so they come out easier

Heat and a press. Maybe heat and a heavier hammer. Put your purse down and swing that shit.

On most autos they drive out with a 5 pound hammer. I don't know how those spacers things are put together but if they can be driven out then you are going to have to make sure they are clamped down really good first. Just beating on them if they are bouncing off the blocks etc isn't going to get it done.

I made a jig and used a bottle jack. All 5 at once.

Would not do again. These things are cheap. Getting them in is harder

Get two good size 1/4 inch plates. Face down sandwhiched between, and a good sledge.

I would only do this if preserving the threads on stud was not a necessity

Use a large enough socket where the bolt head fits in if you knock it down, use a hammer and hammer that stud into the socket. Shouldn’t be too hard to hammer it out.

They're wheel spacers so I'd guess that they might not come out......why do you have to remove them??

From experiance you need a very heavy press.
My tech used our 20ton and they made a loud arse "POP" when they came out.

Did it take 20 tons to remove 1 stud, or did that removal all at once? I welded a press, and popped 5 at once (not 6)

The_Devel - That was one at a time. Now that I remember, after we replaced all the studs, mounted the wheels back on the Jeep,
the studs started to spin. Ended up having to order new spacers with studs. What a cluster muck.

Ah.....the ones I used had a spline so that they fit tight and could not spin. That being said, if OP is not concerned with preserving the splines and studs....hammer may work.

Need to replace the original studs (too short) with 12 X 1.5 X 100mm bolts.
    Will post pictures when done.

    100mm studs?

Not second guessing you as I've seen your other posts and understand your technical acumen, but damn. 4" studs?

    Is this a non-Tacoma application?
