    Looks like @gpb was the first to get a used key working in that thread, may be worth reaching out to him for questions. You need Techstream, a OBDII to computer cable which you can buy both on Amazon. You need a Windows XP laptop and you also need to buy “tokens”. It’s possible to do this yourself, but you can also just pay a locksmith or the dealer though it may cost you twice the price. A dealer will probably charge an hour of labor, the locksmith near me charges $80.

    If you need a new key you will need to get it programmed reguardless, is imaging buying OPs key is cheaper than buying a new key, even with paying for programming.

    I have 2 fobs already but wouldn’t have mind a 3rd spare. Seems like it would be too complicated for me to do it myself with just Techstream. Otherwise its a really good price for a like new fob.
