Go ahead and do the u-bolt flip kit and with wheelers bump stops while you are at it. You will not regret it. Get the wheelers bushings too. They are just as good.

Word of caution to people buying from this place. Be absolutely, 100% sure you won't have to return anything. I bought their 3L AAL and decided I wanted to get Dakars. Some things came up financially so I just wanted to do the return for now. I completely take blame and knew their policies. However I just want to remind people that this company DOES NOT offer free shipping, and when they tell you they are giving you a shipping discount, its in fact a discount on the price of the product. So here is what happened to me:

3L AAL - $159
With Shipping "discount" to my door: $192 - not bad, still more expensive than HS AAL shipped
Cost to return back: $37
Total cost from me: $229

total refund back to me: $127

Why the $127? Because they claimed to have only discounted the actual item when they told me they were discounting shipping originally. I should have gotten at least $159 back. Plus, even if this was the case that would mean it costs them $60 bucks to ship but somehow it only cost me $37 to ship back to them insured? These guys are shady and will never be getting my business again. I ended up losing $102. Could have easily sold this on here locally and eaten a lot less.

I'm not going to bad mouth anyone as this is all partly my fault. However, be SURE you won't have to return anything unless you want to eat about half of the cost which makes it not worth it. Plus, you can get free shipping from other places like HS so not sure why you'd bother with these guys anyways for larger items.

Unfortunately companies like these will learn the hard way when enough customers complain and realize they can get stuff from Amazon or HS with free shipping and in some cases much cheaper returns.

 

But did you return the candy? I highly recommend @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc to anyone. I have dealt with them for many years now and have always found them to be stand-up people. Sorry you feel you got screwed but this is a good company. Good advise on telling people to make sure they order the right thing but again I would not tell people not to buy from them. They have been a great vendor on this forum and a part of this community for a long time.

 

I got great helpful service... before I bought anything. I'm not here to bash them. Just make sure you're positive you won't have to return anything. Shipping rates on their end are crazy. And if you do... you're better off selling it on here and getting more money.

 

Gotta jump in here, got KINGS last week paid for guaranteed overnight shipping ball was dropped and I didn't receive it until 3 days later Wheelers gave me all my shipping back including fuel charges etc. Which they did not have to do plus the deal I got on Kings was better than any other spot.

 

They made well on their shipping mistake? I'd hope they would. Especially when you're spending that kind of money.

 

Word of the wise, shipping is never free. The shipping company gets paid one way or another so the money comes from somewhere. I'd rather pay the actual price of shipping, than pay a higher price and get "free" shipping.

 

And I fully understand that. However, I find it funny it cost me substantially less to ship it back than it cost to ship to me. AND they said they were discounting shipping. All they did was discount the price of the item but then told me they were discounting shipping. Again, I'm glad everyone had good experiences with them. Just hope you won't have to return anything because you'll eat their inflated shipping, your shipping back AND restocking fees.

We truly apologize for any confusion on your return and refund. You were discounted nicely for a price match and we shipped the parts to you. In which, what you actually pay for the product is what you are refunded as it clearly states on your sales receipt/invoice. Shipping charges are not refunded and are deducted from all returns on free shipping (which we pay for you). Thats not the point. I was well aware of the policies. In earlier emails I was told SHIPPING was discounted. Just because your invoice (for which I honestly didn't read at the time to notice) discounted the item price instead of shipping doesn't mean anything. Its what I was originally told by someone there. I was originally told shipping was discounted... not the sale price of the item. If you gave me the $159 back instead of $127... I would be fine as I would be eating all shipping costs as it should be. NOT eating over inflated "discounted" shipping.

And you think its "fair" that I get half back for my return? BS. You're basically saying that anyone that screws up... we're taking a ton of money from you. Which was the meaning of this original post.

 

$32.00 = "A TON OF MONEY" Sometimes things happen man. Got to let this shit go or it will put you in an early grave. WOOOOOOOOOOSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

 

We just went over the emails thoroughly and a shipping discount was never mentioned by us. We always apply discounts to the parts themselves due to having no margins on shipping.
