I got everything done for the bow in the shattered thrown but did not so the last part with the orbs. O well guess I'll wait 3 weeks!

You know... Crooked fang before Forsaken was a throw away gun. Even when you look at the stats compared to the tarantula they aren't even close (especially with range). Tarantula was my baby for a long time in D2 yr 1. But I've noticed a lot of people using the Crooked Fang recently so I think the range stat is misleading and needs to be updated as it basically shows a range of a normal fusion rifle even though it's a linear fusion rifle and will map people. I really like the Crooked Fang now. In Gambit I've just adjusted my playstyle to where I used to get two kills with the sleeper and then rush in. Now I stick to cover to keep from getting melted by the Queenbreaker and burn them down with the Broadsword. The thing with Gambit when your invading you have an overshield so the first person you come up against is at a disadvantage. Proc desperado and then burn though as many as you can before either being killed or called back. Once I'm finally able to get my hands on a Queenbreaker I'll go back to my original playstyle.

I'm in the same boat. I got one of the bosses down the last time we went in 3 weeks ago. But I got booted from the game due to an error and didn't get the other two bosses down to place in the statue. I'm like you and will just have to wait another 3 weeks. Meh... oh well.

Two bosses I need for the Wishender. Wish I hadn't got booted. It's not like I would ever take off the Broadsword to actually use it but I still want it.

Ran the raid on the WL for the first time last night and got 3 RL's lol. I did get a few pieces of armor but the perks suck on them so they will become infusion fuel. Played some IB solo yesterday on the WL and only went negative once. One thing I did learn is I'm going to have to play much more IB (or PvP in general) to become proficient with the WL once again. Each game I was sitting in the middle of the pack at the end and I'm not quite used to that.
I haven't played PvP on the WL since around the first of the year. I just started taking my hunter in and dominating. But now it seems each class is pretty equal so I have no excuse to try to learn once again how to play the WL with the new subclasses. Nova Warp is stupid OP but the thing is... I need to learn how and when to use it properly. I got quite a few kills with it last night but I also made some stupid mistakes on my part and popped it at the wrong time and got shut down in an instant. I'm not used to running blink but I think honestly that is the best way to get around the map and get yourself out of trouble. Thing is, I've never used blink even in D1 so I'm learning on the fly (pun intended). It's a completely different type of playstyle than I'm used to but once I become proficient with it I think it will be pretty potent.

All in all I'm having fun with it. Queuing solo sucks but the way I look at it is you just have to look at what your team is doing and try to fill a different roll each game. Sometimes you queue into a game that is full of rushers (which is my playstyle) and you can just rush with them. Other times you'll queue into a game and you have half the team sitting back trying to just pick people off. So I have to adjust my playstyle and hopefully there will be at least one aggressive player on my team so we can bait them back to the others that aren't as aggressive. But in IB... If they aren't capturing zones... it's game over so I just go for the kills and use it as a learning experience on how to take on multiple opponents at once.

I did get lucky in the raid last night and got these gloves. You resist incoming damage while charging your handheld supernova and get almost all your grenade ability back with a kill. Now these things are useful and fun to use as it's a one hit kill that can take out 2 people standing on a cap point without having to waste your super ability.

So it didn't take long to get the hang of the WL. I'm having almost as much fun with it as I am my Hunter. I still prefer my Hunter but the WL has been a nice change of pace.

Got all of my IB bounties done solo queuing and only lost one match. The WL can carry it's own I will say that.

And I got the armor that I was looking for. Works perfect for PvE and PvP since I have Linear Fusion Rifle reserves, RL reserves, Pulse Rifle reserves and unflinching, and paragon and super mods on all the armor. Fucking WL is a goddamn beast now.

Oh... and the Helmet has shotgun targeting and shotgun reserves on it also. Talk about a well rounded character.

What is the best super for orb making in iron banner with the hunter? Titan is easy to make orbs.

Arcstaff. Quick and easy. Tether if you can tether multiple people. Blade Barrage nets you a few per hit. It sure as hell isn't Nova Warp on the WL lol.

It's fun to play with in PvE but PvP it's pretty easy to shut down. Out of all the IB I played yesterday I was only killed with it once. Once I figured out who had it I just peeked in and out of cover and melted them as they tend to rush if they think they have a better weapon than you. I "personally" wouldn't waste a heavy slot on the Thunderlord in PvP but that's just me. You "might" get one or two kills before being shut down but the WC (if masterworked) will almost always net you four kills if played right.

That said... When Black Armory comes out I think Machine guns are going to be pretty prevalent. I think it will be kind of like TTK was in D1 where you needed a Machine gun for the raid. It wouldn't surprise me if the new raid liar will almost require Machine guns.

In PVP im not seeing thunderlord often. The bows are what drive me nuts! im so far behind right now tho. Titan is my highest and its only sitting around 525. i have attempted the raid with a few of the clan and some randoms. but never have completed it. what system are you playing on RearviewMirror?

I agree with bows. The thing about bows in PvP is they are a two shot so basically what they are good at is backing you off from engaging that person. If you double peek your done. So if I get hit by a bow I just re engage from a different angle that they aren't expecting (unless they are using the Wishender). The only time I'll engage a bow user after they have hit me once is if I have Desperado proc'd on the Broadsword and just melt them down before they can even draw the second bow. If it isn't proc'd there's no way to re engage them without dying.
PvP is all about map awareness and knowing the lanes and never getting caught out in the middle of a map or getting caught sprinting. That is the biggest mistake I see in PvP is people standing in a lane or just straight out in the open with no chance for cover. Those are easy targets. People that know what they are doing will never not leave themselves an out. The way I play is I'm never without cover. That may mean there is a box in front of me, a corner that I know someone will most likely come around, and I never leave a wall. Each map plays different and there is always cover to be found. The worst part of PvP is when you get spawn trapped by the other team and until the spawns flip your kind of at their mercy.
I queued solo all day yesterday and only lost one game. If queuing solo you'll just have to figure out how that team is going to play. Find yourself another person to run with each time and you'll be surprised how much easier it is than trying to be the hero and lone wolfing it. I learned that the hard way. As the match progress you'll just have to find your role in helping your team win.

As far as the raid goes... At 525 you'd be lucky to make it through the first encounter. To finish the raid... realistically you will need to be in the 585-590 range.

Thats probably the best advice i have ever gotten for PVP. My tag is "Taste D Rambo". My playing style is i rush in and go for kills. Yet im always getting killed...lol. but i also never played call of duty or any other PVP game until destiny 1. I love PVE. And im talking about the first raid of D2!

Oh... The Levithan should be easy at 525. The problem is... good luck getting anyone to play that raid now. It's a good raid with a lot of good mechanics (other than Dogs which is boring as fuck). But other than two guns that come out of that raid I can't imagine many people will be playing that raid. The Inaugural Address Pulse Rifle is one of the few weapons that will still compete in the new Meta in PvP. It's a damn good gun and I still see some people playing with it because it's very forgiving. And the Alone as a God sniper is still one of the top snipers in PvP because it has a low zoom sight and it's kind of an open sight. But I see very few people using snipers in PvP right now.

I'm like you with PvP and I rush no matter what. I'll always go for "B" flag because that's where the action is going to be. If I can get at least one or two others to go with me we can usually capture it. From that point your main goal is to hold zones and control heavy. I'm an aping shotgunner which means I'm one of those dicks lol. If the other team gets to "B" flag before us then I'll stand next to cover and pick them off as fast as possible. If you notice... there is no cover on the cap points so it's an objective decision based on how much of your radar is lit up before you start your attack.

This is what it looks like when you cover heavy the entire match.

This was on Bannerfall and we went in and capped "B". Then I covered heavy since Bannerfall lends itself to perfect sightlines in almost a 180 degree area. They never picked up heavy once. Whoever controls heavy controls the match (usually). 9.0 k/d and the other team never stood a chance.

Only thing from the raid that I haven't got yet. Hell... You don't even have to shot them. You can shot the ground, wall, ceiling, basically anywhere around them and they will die. I don't think I would replace my WC with it since it's just too damn good. But I still want that weapon.

Yeah I’ll get to doing the new raid at some point in life lol. But when I play I don’t hold back. I die a lot but it’s a game. Fuck it. I rush in for the fun. I do like being a ass also and sitting back with a mida and pick people off hahaha.

Mida is tough in this meta. Not saying it can't be used especially on a map like Equinox but even on that map I still use the Broadsword and the Distant Relation scout. But most of the D2 maps were built for 4v4 and not sixes. So using a Mida (to me) is not an option especially since it is a 4 tap to the head. I'm not giving up the Broadsword (which is a three tap unproc'd and shoots almost as far as the Mida) until I get the Luna's Howl or Not Forgotten.

My advise... Get the Bygones from Gambit. It is one of the top tier Pulse rifles out there right now.

The goal is to not die a lot lol. I'm sitting in the 95 percentile at the moment and I'd like to keep it that way.
