The private driveway that is shared amongst our neighbors ( 7 houses) is in pretty good shape... But the first 300' or so is probably at a 12 -15% grade. Its gravely and rock in other parts but the initial climb is pretty smooth.. Apparently she is still stuck and is super pissed... after getting a 24 hour shift this is definitely the last thing she wanted and I am hearing about it.

 

Nope! But small world because we looked at that one. We are 3 miles S of there.. our address is Mountain Road but we are off of Mountain Road a quarter of a mile because of the private driveway

 

All this talk on Suburu's and the only car i saw stopped along the road was a WRX with its hazards on this morning

Yeah, that was fun this morning! Roads were total shit from Warrenton to Quantico. Took me at least an extra 45 minutes to get to work this morning, and now they are saying, "Maybe we should have had a delay today or had folks telecommute." Idiots.

 

My wife really liked the "open concept" of that house but I am glad we didn't get it because of the condition of the driveway and the yard. Guess who would have been responsible for fixing and keeping up with that?! I was pretty relieved when they rejected our low ball offer.

 

Not making it. Today just turned into a shitstorm.
