Central Texas' biggest gathering of auto enthusiasts has found a new home at Circuit of The Americas! CARS & COFFEE AUSTIN is taking over Lot A for a monthly pop-up car show for the entire family. All profits will be donated to a different Austin area charitable organization each month.

COTA Karting IS OPEN FOR CARS & COFFEE GUESTS FROM 7:30AM TO NOON. WALK UPS ONLY

For anyone new, this gathering is a community effort that we all pitch in to supply various items for our group to make our day more enjoyable and full of bacon. A list of common items is as follows:

• Bacon

• Salsa
• Coffee

• Sugar
• Cups
• Plates
• Plastic Ware
• Tables
• Chairs
• Cookers
• Trash receptacles and bags
• Really any food, utensils, snacks, drinks or random thing you can think of

**As always, it is not expected for anyone to bring anything. Anything that is brought is greatly appreciated, but you are still allowed to partake in any of the snacks/tacos even if you can’t bring anything**

Post Cars & Coffee Meetup:
There will *possibly* be a trip to Bastrop to do some wheeling following the event. Departure times from COTA will likely be discussed the day of at COTA.

Post C&C there will be a range therapy session for those interested. CaptAmerica is working on scheduling this. Please PM him if you are interested and include any Pew Pew you are bringing and willing to let others try.

From Cap:
I’m still working on details with the range folks, because we’d be the first non-class they’ve had, but they’ve got nothing else scheduled that day. Interested parties please PM me and I’ll add them to a conversation we have going listing who has what so they know what they would want to pick up.

If you want to shoot something, please bring your own ammo. It sounds as if there will be a variety of calibers that people are willing to allow others to shoot. If you would like to try them, please grab some ammo of your own. i.e. if you want to try a 9mm, bring some 9mm ammo, .45 for .45, etc...

Obviously... Be respectful and thankful for those willing to share their firearms for this gathering.

You know class sucked when, after the warm up problem which took like 5 min, the entire class was one problem and you ended up going 15 minutes over

 

Back in my day, we had a pop can and a stick, and we were happy, lol

 

It doesn’t sound like lead therapy will be after C&C

Thank you, eeked in with 30 days remaining before I have to give it all up thanks to Civil Service.

 

More like a career return. Last October my dept. Closed up abruptly, so for exactly a year I have been driving charter buses for a horribly mismanaged company. So glad to be getting back into my career field and use this Masters for something besides wall art. Lol.
