No clues since he was using a reaction rod.

    13.5" or 12.5"?

Id honestly separate the scope and bipod. The scope should sell for a good price, close-ish to what you paid for it if its in good shape. Same with the bipod. If included as a package might take a bit longer to find a buyer wanting that specific type of setup.

As for the gun...perhaps keep the lower and sell just the upper? Might be able to sell the upper a bit quicker and to a larger market that way. The PSA MOE lower wouldn't really add to much value and some people wouldn't want to have to pay a transfer fee (and tax if applicable) for a "generic" lower setup. If its unfired, the upper you could probably get 700-800 for going on a quick search off AAC uppers. Saw a few new-in-box ones for the 850-900 range.

13.5” and yeah I was thinking about serperating it. I’ve only shot 15 rounds out of it and the scopes brand new whole setup has just been sitting in my closet since I put it all together.

Me either, it’s an odd length.
My value of the upper would’ve been offensive , but I also don’t care to pay for the brand.

That makes more sense, what’s the actual barrel length?
I can see that, can’t hurt to drop spare cash with companies that employ friends/family.

17.5" with the aac brake so I'd assume 14" or so for actual barrel length. Also friends discount helped a little bit with a suppressor haha

How many of y'all use the safety on your AR?
How many of you decock your AR's on an empty chamber to tactfully feel that the chamber is empty without moving the bolt?

    I use the safety.
Not sure what you mean decock.

I release the bolt on an empty chamber, mostly because in a rifle bag, the bolt release can be depressed, sending the bolt home.
I want yo know where my bolt is at all times.

I think he means dry firing it? To decock the bolt.

    Correct ^^^

If you dry fire it the safety will not move from fire to safe, so you can pick up the firearm at a later date and all you have to do is attempt to move the safety and you will know wether or not there is a round in the chamber.

It wouldn’t save me any time. If it goes in or out of the safe it gets the chamber checked regardless of what position the safety is in. If I pick it up after it’s been laying around for some reason (and I’m not out hunting) it gets the chamber checked.

If someone picks it up and pulls the trigger and there is a round in the tube..... just doesn't seem safe to me. :notsure:

With Christmas coming, if money wasn’t an option, what would be the components you would use to build or what built AR15 would you want?

Try out a factory built KAC 14.5” in the Mlok or Keymod flavor you prefer, its the best.

It would look like a WWSD Rifle, mostly.

10" aluminum forend, slickside upper, lightweight 1-X scope in an Aero ultralight mount, 16 to 18" pencil barrel w/ A2 FH. LW BCG, fed by a tunable gas block.

Lower would be GWACS w/ JP silent carbine weight captured setup, and either a Geissele SSA-E or KE Arms SLT-1. Add handstop/flashlight of choice.

Feed the thing 77 gr SMK/TMK's from 30 round PMAGS. Rifle weighs 7ish pounds and runs like a top.
