What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I'm still waiting on my Bartact front seat covers I ordered on September 10th. I've been bugging them every week for the last few. Was able to get them to ship me the rear covers at no cost because they were in stock. Great fit and quality, but the customer service sucks; emails and voicemails get no return.

Now if only I could get my Can-Back topper I ordered September 14th. It's the same situation. Keeps blaming it on whoever does the sewing for taking too long.

 

I bowhunt in S.Illinois. Have been for 27 years.

 

i finally replaced my OEM license plate bulbs with my PIAA LED bulbs ive had on 2 other of my cars. still shining bright...Probably 10 years old lol

Too many crooks in office live north of Springfield. Probably never will get any better here in southern Illinois.

Funny, we up here say the same thing about Springfield.

 

Slapped on a set of Rigid amber fog light covers last night.

 

As long as fuel flows internally through the pump it is being cooled.

 

I speed up and then slam on the breaks and the light goes out. For a little while anyway.

I have not been sticking with my original mantra of 'limited upgrades at the beginning', but without this, my $2,500 RTT is useless, so it was an easy upgrade to justify in my head.

Sliders and OBA are next must haves

Since I haven't run out of gas since I started acting on the assumption, I'm going to try to stay in the habit of filling at or before 1/8th tank remaining all the same.

 

Yea, I too only had long bed Tacoma's and enjoyed the extra foot. The truck I just purchased (Limited) is my first short bed. If the limited came in a long bed I would trade yesterday.

When I got my 3rd, I wanted to get a LB. The wife opposed it because "it would be a pain in a lot of parking lots" so I asked her how often she was planning to drive it. She responded with "Get what you want, it is your truck. I was just trying to point it out to you."

Turns out what I wanted was the limited which is only a short bed so she got what she wanted too.

 

I'm not able to hunt anymore. But I do have some deer steaks & burger still breathing until tomorrow.
