Randy what made you get the Dobinson one over the Airflow version?

 

For me it was half the price, better looking, and airflow makes and supplies chemical toilets... I don't want my snorkel smelling like doodee.

My truck developed a terrible miss today on the way home. Pulled plugs they look new. Ohmed the wires good. Pulled the cap. Hair line crack between 1 n 3. So 3 cylinders are trying to fire at once. NOBODY HAS A DISTRIBUTOR CAP NEAR ME. Found my old one hopefuly it holds up.

 

Order a new one. I'd also take a close look at the wires look for the telltale where they may be arcing externally as well. Also if the cap is cracked I'd go ahead and replace the rotor. I always liked putting wires and coil packs on the scope and see what they looked like. I've seen wires ohm out good but their scope wave have all sorts of abnormalities.

Yep ordered cap rotor and a new coil. The cap was only 1 yr old always do cap n rotor. Could not rember when i did the coil last.
