    Up @ 4am. Found 1/2" of ice on EVERYTHING. Lots of broken tree limbs. Normal 30 minute drive in became 2 hours. Road in to parking lot blocked by tree. Winched that bad boy off the road. After all that the boss decided to close for the day. .

    ..except for the 6 morons that already made it here.....

    Ah well.....

    LG&E says this was "top 10" worst ice storm in Louisville. Still a lot of leaves on trees for ice.

    I mentioned this in another thread. This is the earliest I've ever remembered this kind of ice in KY. Perhaps in January or February. But we're normally much warmer this time of year. I've mowed my yard deep into December some years.
