Anyone ever seen anything like this? The TPMS light flashes and then lights up solid. The pressure readout screen keeps changing, even the units change sometimes between PSI, bar, and kPa. Sometimes it's just all dashes.

I took it to the dealer last time it did this a few weeks ago, and by the time my appointment came around it started functioning normally again and they said everything checked out normal. Now it's doing it again.

Take it back to the dealer with this video. IDK if you had the video the first time or not, but the dealer cant do anything if they can't see the problem or duplicate. This video should be a great demo for them to look at.

You could try disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes or so to see if that clears it up.

Mines started flashing recently, America's tire told me it's the sensor going out. Although mines is much older, and yours shouldn't have that issue so soon.

Did you find a resolution to this issue? I am seeing the same thing after wheel and tire change.

Crap! I didn't see this, but you are the fourth person to post about odd TPMS issues in the past couple weeks.

One person reported that their odd issues was just a leak, but none of their sensors were registering.

I'm sure that you know, buy if you try the battery disconnect noted above, take both terminals off and touch them together for a few seconds. This extra step helped us in the past.

You could do a hard reset. Touch both battery cables together for about 10 seconds see if that works

Quick question for everyone what do you guys have your tires set to? I just checked on the door and it says it’s recommended at 29psi. This is my first Tacoma I’ve owned so Is that right or what should I have my tires to

I feel better having them at 35. I feel like 29 is to low for truck tires

I still need to make an appointment and take it in. The TPMS light is flashing for a while and then goes solid, which indicates a system problem not related to the pressure.

I don't want to simply reset it and have it come back later because unless it's covered under the emissions warranty, I only have about 3k miles left of the 36k warranty

Problem is I've been needing the truck to haul things to the dump and home from Home Depot for projects I'm working on. Maybe next week I'll take it in.
    :notsure:

After a wheel and tire change I'd suspect that something was damaged or not registered properly. Mine happened with no changes to anything.
