I'm not that old but even I remember going to school in the middle of a snowstorm.
I never went to school and home uphill both ways in the middle of a blizzard though:eek:That was my parents :amen:

That's like asking a Toyota dealership if Honda has a better sale on coffee....

What size tires? What brand tires? What load rating? Have you tried Googling?

Discount direct has been very helpful and picking up tires and for the most part I am staying close to what came with what I got the truck with. I told my wife the price and she said oh my God
And so far direct is very reasonable

Got a good bit of snow if Framingham tonight. I always find it amusing to drive in the snow because it's Darwinsim at its best. I never understood how there's people who have lived in New England all their lives and are still scared/don't know how to drive in the snow.

I was hearing all the cancellations on the radio. Crazy. I remember having to walk to school in the snow and we were lucky to get two hour delays

We were told unless you live within about a quarter mile (give or take) from the school you don’t have to walk anymore. Now it’s just damn buses everywhere

It's the $$$$....It's too expensive to roll out all the plows and heavy equipment so they barely salt the roads...and it's supposed to warm up to near 50F saturday...so they'll let mother nature do the dirty work.

Buying tires is 1 thing but you need to balance and align.
Most of the time you get discount on everything when you buy everything.
Just buying tires online then bringing them in and having them mounted balanced and alignment you normally won't get a discount.
I've done the math a few times and it's usually the same give or take 30$.

If I don't do Blizzaks those are what I'm getting for my next winter tire. I know I should just do the Blizzaks and be done with it, but in the same I'm a horrible poser and like white letter tires with some level of aggressiveness on the sidewall. I like the idea of not having to swap as soon as temps come back up if something comes up and I'm lazy. Keep us updated on how they do in the really gross stuff.

Are you the same loyale93 from Nabisco? I haven't been over there much recently as it appears everything Subaru went to FB.

Just the 3rd shift daily drive. They don't treat the roads from 10pm to 5am. It's great . I had the highway blocked off 3 time last year from pile ups at 11 pm,

I'm assuming . Someone slipped out on spitbrook already.

Mind everyone, all those accidents are in about 5 miles. Haha.

I'm going from Nashua to Hooksett. Should be fun
