Exactly. I just looked an I placed my order on 9/5/2017 and I didn’t tune mine until 1.03 MT came out so I’ve been tuned since 11/27

Hey guys. I got 1.04r files today. Thanks OVTune for the quick service! I’m going to flash for the first time and was wondering if and for how long to let the truck idol? I didn’t see anything in the instructions but remember reading about it here a while back.

Does this mean cruise is just the Toyota Tune? I wouldn't have thought cruise would do so terribly, but its understandable if its not mapped the same

from what i read in the thread you are correct. the cruise control maps were untouched. unsure if they will be in 1.05. the tsb did seem to address the CC maps a bit as i noticed slightly different behavior. my assumption is that even flashing 1.04R the CC maps are still OEM.

this is all from what i've read and experienced personally. obviously i could be way off.

so better yet, don't listen to me. there are people here who will express a contradiction either way

Cruise is all Toyota. When Mats done with this next one it’s all OVtune then. That’s why it drives so much nicer without it in cruise.

 

I have an AT anyway I’m just getting tired of false promises. In my line of work if you make up an arbitrary deadline of work to be completed and it doesn’t get done you get burned.

 

Thats probably how Toyota put together this tune. When it’s ready we’ll get it though.

I’m pretty sure all the dates were his “goals” and he’s redoing his work for the 3rd time now due to Toyota.
