It is during boost. It does drop to 10 or even high 8s but not until its wound up.

Ok. Sounds like what I’m seeing is pretty normal.

Looks like I need to order up a tensioner and a shorter belt.

Are you still running the stock clutch? or which pressure plate do you have?

Pressing into WOT somewhat more slowly should show a better image of what your AFRs should be doing. With that said, should be in the 13s and work it’s way down to 11/11.5. 14.7 at idle is perfect. Around 15.0 cruising constant speed is ideal for better mpg.

@TRON with your 2.55" pulley and the NST overdrive pulley, would that be close to the equivalent of a 2.35"?

Pretty much brand new stock clutch (Aisin) Has maybe 12k on it. Feels plenty solid. Will bark the 285’s shifting into third at maximum effort. I’m not worried about it. Yet.

I did eliminate that stupid damper on the hydraulics as well as swap over to all the updated pedal and slave cyl parts. Did the PDM t/o bearing and sleeve for good measure. Did all that when I did the clutch at 98k miles. Made a fantastic difference in feel.

Now if I could only kill this fucking rev-hang.

You talking about the clutch accumulator?

What is this PDM you speak of?

Thanks. Was much more progressive with 2.7. With 2.5 it's still in the mid 14's at half throttle. I'm tempted to put the trd tune back to work as I'm not sure if ovtune has calibrated for a 2.5. I'm trying to figure out setting up my data log now. Oh boy, s#'[ show

    I think this is right...
NST OD is 6.89/2.5 pulley = 2.76 ratio
TRD OD is 6.50/2.3 pulley = 2.83 ratio

So the 2.3 has slightly more boost potential. But I think the NST OD pulley being significantly lighter helps.

Think I’m going to bypass that clutch accumulator too. So is a bunch fluid going to spew out removing that accumulator?! Or do you have to drain it...

I agree the PDM ss Kit is great! @BillDaCat8

OVTune was slightly better for me on the 2.7. After comparing on the 2.5, I get better AFRs with TRD tune. If I punch it WOT both tunes pretty much go buried high 9s / low 10s immediately. Less aggressive throttling to WOT produces better AFRs in mid 10s just like @TRON mentioned.

Thanks. I remember reading your thoughts on that. So your ovtune is just out of commission now?

I used to hit 7-8psi when not at WOT, then it would drop to 4psi at WOT. While being noticeably more powerful than when it was at half throttle at 7psi.

In the cold those numbers would go up a pound or two.

Soooooo I’m running 14.7 at idle.....and also at cruise. It will fluctuate a little (mostly richer as I go up hills and stuff) but normally does what I’d expect when it comes to rich and lean (leans out when I let off gas and going down hill, as an example). I’ve had no issues with the set up that Scott currently has me working with so I don’t plan on changing it as of now. I assume it’s fine being 14.7 during those times.

I do have UCON but no o2 sims or anything. Also still running stock exhaust minus swapping out mufflers and dumping the pipe over the rear axle.
