Htc hd2

anyone using this phone? you like/dislike? what are the problem(s) you are having with it? anything good about it?

 

I played with this phone for a while.

It uses Windows Mobile 6.5. And its not upgradeable to Win Mobile 7.

Its like using a shiny new brand new Dell computer running Windows 95. I think anyone is crazy if they buy a phone now that does not run:

Andriod 2.1 (or 2.2)
Windows Mobile Phone 7 (coming out soon)
iOS 4

 

Couldn't agree more. A buddy of mine have the hd2 version from t-mobile for about month now and now he wish he would have waited for the iPhone 4.

 

I was reading somewhere about that. They said basically by the time you get your hands on one, Windows Mobile 7 would be out and you'd have wasted your money. I'm going to wait for the new model to come out or at least one with Windows Mobile 7 on it.

Other than that the phone looks pretty decent (I can get passed the large size of it) imo. thanks guys.

 

Just read on Engadget that the HD2 will be able to have the Android OS installed on it. It will not completely replace the Windows OS so that you can reflash it back in case you have any issues or trade the phone in, etc.
