How long you had the lift? Has it always done this?
Reason I ask: did my lift last year, leveled the front of the truck; then low and behold a popping noise when turning/on inclines, etc.
Had too much lift on the front end and this caused the steering to 'pop' occasionally. Lowered the preload = problem fixed (only dropped a 1/4" on both sides).
(I tried this after tightening the sway bar, LCA's, checking for any other contact, etc.)
Hope this helps and you get it fixed.

My ADS do the exact same thing. Slight pop from a hard stop and that’s generally the only time. Welcome to the club.

If you haven’t changed them yet your front brake pads could be low, moving around causing noises. I had a similar popping noise and that was my cause.

new rotors and pads (<8000 miles), the sound isn't coming from that area. Its more in the rear when I notice it

Can tightening them change alignment, i just had them torqued. I honestly am starting to think it is a symptom of a lifted vehicle with frame flex and coil settling. I appreciate all the insight from everyone.

Not going to worry about it

The sound that @SpeySquatch described, combined with the input from @Man Babes is pretty consistent with what I've experienced. I had the SAME sound that and symptoms of "popping" and "clacking" that both of you describe, and it happened after I got an alignment; it also happened to my brother's truck after an alignment- same sounds and symptoms. Come to find out, the alignment bolts were really loose only torqued to about 30ft/lbs, when they're supposed to be torqued to 100ft/lbs for 4wd models. After I torqued them to 100ft/lbs, the sound went away! Hope this helps!

Indeed. I will torque at home. To be clear, you all are talking about these bolts correct?

No, just make sure you torque the NUT and not the actual cam-bolt

Yes sir, that's it. There's four total. When I did mine, all four were loose.

That's the one! Also, it'd be a good idea to get a paint-paint and mark your cams just in case you accidentally torque them instead. It's also good to mark them so you can periodically check that everything is still in alignment in the future. Good luck man!

When you torque it, make sure the truck is on it's own weight, NOT up on jack stands. Has to do with the bushings binding.

This is some good info. I have a popping sound every now and then and could not figure out what it was. I'm going to try this when I get home.

I had the same issue. Thought it was the suspension but when I upgraded to my Icon’s and deleted the sway bar, it was still there. Weird thing is, it all of a sudden went away after a few thousand miles.
When I did have the sound, my wife said she could feel is very distinctly through the passenger side floor board.
