Red Dead Redemption 2

I tried this in regards to the badger. Still can’t get any of those fuckers to spawn. And if they do they’re 1 or 2 star.

 

It took me a while to find those. I would ride circles around the oil refinery where you find a dinosaur skull, eventually they pop up and then it's just chasing them down before they get away.

 

I gave up trying. I spent hours looking for them to no avail. So now I’m just doing the story missions and hoping one will pop up along the way. I’ve tried numerous different places where others have said and still nothing.

 

Instead of getting on my horse that's right next to me, I choke out the lawman 10 feet away. Yeah, that makes sense...

 

I cant find a cougar to save my life. That's the last pelt I need for fully upgraded satchel. I'm only on chapter 3 so can't venture down southwest yet

 

Far west. By the trapper at the edge of the map. Pretty sure..

 

My map shows I've seen one there before, just hunted there for two nights and nothing. I found one by Annesburg but it was a 1-star so I didnt shoot it

 

If you kill too many you deplete the area and won't see any more for a while.

This is one of the stupid wants no matter how long it takes. The pirate hat can be found on the far side of an island near the second camp. I had to return to the old camp many times to get a canoe close enough to shore to kill the occupants and take it over.

Then row row row your boat and find the dilapidated pirate ship with the hat. There were a few more goodies like crabs, iguanas and turtles to harvest while you are there.

 

Shiiiiiit. I probably killed if it shows on my map then. I might use my wolf tactic and ride around areas that might have them until one attacks me lol

 

Big Valley in the Far West and North of Annesburg in the North East.

Don't forget the broken cutlass on one of the islands in Saint Denis

 

Just picked this up a couple days ago.. haven't had an opportunity to play it a whole lot yet. Just finished the train heist near the beginning. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the gameplay so far. After so. Many. FPS games, this is a pleasant change.

 

Is anyone experiencing disappearing side quests? Do they disappear as you progress through the main story?

 

quick question. every time i go and hunt and i collect the pelt, there is a pop up saying that i have not collected the whole items that you can get from lets say a deer, and i would need to clean out my satchel. i looked in my satchel and its mostly empty. what is going on?

 

I agree. I haven't played anything outside of a FPS in a good while. What system you play on?

 

Try the upper left quadrant area northwest of where the river makes the big S turns. All 3 I have run into have been there. I can't say I found them though, they definitely found me. And if one gets the drop on you and they rush back at you for a second pass, you die immediately. No "Press B to break hold" option. Just death by kitty cat.

On a separate note...I ran across the bear in the cabin last night. Scared the piss outta me.

 

Got my Arabian last night.

Then some dude tried to steal it. A couple of rounds to the back of the head stopped him quick.


Side note: how do you dead eye and pick where you want the shot? Mine always picks horses and whatnot if I pass the cross hair over the horse. I see videos where someone can pass over whatever they want but it only selects the spot where they want the shot placed.

 

If you’re on PS4, it’s R1. Then when you’re ready to fire, just press R2.

 

I managed to find one near Annesburg but it was a 1-star. C'mon Rockstar, they're rare enough. Had to pass on it

 

You have to level up your deadeye to level 6(?) and it unlocks the manual designator mode. Bump the upper right bumper to select, and then trigger to blast them.
