Good Input everyone...I think they marked the price expecting wiggle room. I will start at $30-31K and go from there!

I'm thinking to look underneath the fender panels dirt is usually trapped there if it's actually left the mall

Sick truck with great mods! I'm sure they will go down on the price, and talk to them about warranty stuff with all those mods before you buy. If the inspection looks good I'd go for it if those mods are things you would do to your new stock truck if you went that route instead. I'd say that's about $5k of mods on there so if you go with a brand new truck you're probably looking at around $38-40k to get the same thing where you can probably pick that one up for around $33k I'd guess.

You will pay taxes on it where you register it not where you purchase it...I bought mine in Oregon and registered in NC so I unfortunately had to pay a bunch of tax on it.

Good looking truck, but I wouldn't buy it. First, I paid 32,4XX OTD for my DCSB MT Sport with 5mi on the OD (most my test drive). Secondly, I would NEVER buy a modded truck - you never wh did the work and what they did with it. Just me, but it is your choice your truck.

They are probably making 15k off the sale.

No, you dont have to pay sales tax because you are not registering it in California.

There is no way they paid $20k for a Two year old ORDC with 13,000 miles. If the truck checks out on the PPI, I see no reason to not buy a used truck with light mods to it. The classifieds in here are littered with hundreds to thousands of heavily modded trucks for sale, and the majority of them sell.

Really? How so? Wouldn’t it be the same as walking into an auto parts store to buy parts? The tax would be collected at the time of the sale.

No. You pay the sales tax for the state you’re registering the vehicle in.

Edit - see it’s been posted. Nice truck, talk them down. Wish I could sell mine for that haha.

No. Sales tax is collected at time of registration no matter what state. Like I just sold a Jeep to a guy in Oklahoma. No sales tax until he registers in OK.

Apply logic. That will tell you they didn’t pay 20k for it.

I buy cars at auction all the time and I just traded in my 17 TRDOR. I would say I have a small inclination they didn’t pay 20. The old school thought that dealers make a killing on used cars is so beyond outdated and wrong.

Maybe they didn’t...the burden of proof is on you, since you’re suggesting such a substantial decrease over wholesale. Sounds like you’re just trolling.
