Made my own puddle light system that will both come on when approaching vehicle and that also has it's own switch. Also installed a new drivers inside door panel as my old one was pretty scratched up.

 

nothing major, and only cost me about $40 on ebay.....I removed the factory chrome badges and installed matte black new badges- i love the big result for little money!

 

Got LIT series E pods and 30" single row bumper light bar with caliraised switches

 

Got my Icon Stage 3 system installed by RPM Garage in Monrovia Ca. While there, also had Metal Works Fabrication do the CMC mod in prep for bigger tires. Truck has a little rake to it but planning to let it settle a bit and add a few turns to the adjuster in hopes of leveling it out.

 

Yes SSO has pretty clear instructions on where to cut, and yes you take off the black valance of the bumper and cut just above it. The end result looks like this...

I’ve been eyeing it for over a year, even before I bought my truck. That’s why I’m glad to finally get it on. Until you get stuck you don’t realize how little it takes to get stuck. I got stuck on a trail that had a 30 foot section of snow, and spent 3 hours digging out. A winch would have been a 5-10 minute delay.

Nah, I am going to wrap it with 3M Black Matrix vinyl, along with laying over the black vinyl between the windows, and also the two main pieces of trim inside on the dash. It's more work and more $ to order an SR bezel take chrome one off, put boring plain black one in than it is to simply wrap it. Then I preserve the original chrome finish underneath and get a more unique appearance.

Going to measure and order today. I'll post pictures eventually.

I’m wanting to make my low beam headlights brighter without having to replace the entire unit. Any recommendations on bulbs? How difficult is the installation?

 

Love my plug and play Hikari led bulbs from Amazon. Very bright white and match drl bulbs in color temp.

 

This is the best mod for our trucks hands down! Completely changes the look for the better. Good looking truck my friend!
