Both my trucks don’t have that. And they came from the factory stock with the lighted rings. That’s only for the RS3000 security system it appears.

It's $25 from olathe toyota parts. You can get the trim ring blank or with the security writing on it. Its just a plastic ring that pops over the key lock. My truck has one but has no writing on it.

Take a pic of yours? I don’t think you need it. It’s a flexible plastic ring and that’s really it.

You just stretch it over the lighted key ring.

That and think about how many people see some photos of people's trucks on here. Some get seen a ton.

Anyone have a 1/2" rear spacer they want to part with? Im tired of the taco lean. It got better with the Alcan springs, but it still has a slight lean.

You'll have better luck adjusting the front to get rid of that.

If you pull it out of the trim, you’ll find that it’s a malleable type of plastic. I use to sell those ignition trims all the time and they all had the same thing ring or no ring.

But the 3rd gen 4runner ones have a bigger opening to include the light. I dont feel like stretching or cutting this one. Like I said, I may pull everything off a Camry if my yard has one tomorrow.

Probably done just before the leaf springs for the body mount to be intact still.

You just gotta see it first hand. That's what Tim's going to tell you anyways, I know he doesn't want to answer a million questions on here.

IIRC it was extended right in the middle of the frame, in between the transmission xmember and carrier bearing xmember. He cut a section out of the double cabs frame and added it in, with a lot of additional plating as well.
