Even with the ones that can be resharpened the edge would have to be perfectly flat.

might actually be getting somewhere on an endgrain cutting board...got to get some glue and see how well it lines up. Im going to have to glue in sections then trim the edges as I only have 2 bessey clamps

 

I'll try to get some pics. long process to get pics...when in bad cell service area...

 

use some boards to help get even pressure even with just 2 clamps.

 

how do you position them?

 

how did you do the end grain? do you have a bunch of little pieces? or did you do multiple glue ups so you have strips instead of little pieces?

 

I have them in blocks, basically 2"x4"

then you will need 4 boards, one for each side and a clamp going each way.

I would glue them up in rows, plane each side then glue all the rows together.
