Go spend a weekend in Sedona and Payson, Arizona ain’t so bad.

 

Sedona is beautiful but it sucks cause it's filled with people, can't escape the crowds even while hiking. Haven't checked out Payson yet tho

 

I lived in Flagstaff when I was a kid. We went down to Sedona all the time. It was popular back then, but you could still easily find places that weren’t crowded. I haven’t been there in over 35 years. Probably shouldn’t go back. Sounds like it’s a lot more crowded now. Plus my tolerance for dealing with crowds has dropped to almost zero.

Sheridan is growing. But its not too bad. Still a cool community I think.

 

HA! I was there too about then. I wasn't there as a kid but was still pretty young. NAU Alum. It been ~40 years.

 

We refer to Sheridan as “the big city.” I live in Dayton.

 

Have you been back? I’ve heard it’s grown quite a bit. I think I’m better off not going back. Leave my memories intact, and not pollute them with reality.

Yea it’s a great town, but don’t everybody think about moving here! With the new subdivision we are already up over 700 population. Getting crowded.

 

haha i doubt that'll be a problem there. Though who knows..

I know that whole side of the mountain is too privatized personally I think. Bit annoying.

 

McKinnon’s probably my favorite town in Wyoming, that I’ve been to anyway.

 

I’ve been to a lot of places in Wyoming, but never there. Close though. Been to Lyman/Mountain View area, and over on the east side of the gorge.

 

I have not. I have been back to Phoenix where I grew up but even that has been over 20 years ago.
