@DMunoz34 - For the brightest output, I would suggest going with an H11 HID conversion kit for your vehicle. The 2018 Toyota Tacoma uses an H11 halogen bulb for the low beams, which means that you will need to order an H11 HID kit. When ordering an HID kit you can choose between several different kelvin temperatures. If you're looking for the brightest and most functional output I would suggest 4300k - as higher kelvin simply produces more color, but less useable light output.

This is an LED kit thread though, so I will make mention that a good alternative would be an H11 LED kit. It will not be as bright as an HID kit, but brighter then stock. Here is a great review posted on this board by a fellow TW member:

    https://www.xenondepot.com/2017-toyota-tacoma-led-headlight-s/121.htm

    hope this helps,

    Steve

Yes - the 7443 are out of stock but they are on the website:
    http://deautokey.com/product/universal-brake-tail-leds-fits-all-car-models

On the drop down - choose 7443 - many have the front-7440 and rear-7443 setup without any issues and very happy with brighter light and LED look.

We only sell products that work or we would not be here.

ALL LEDs/HIDs are here - this includes the new brighter H11 HID kit that was tested by Parker:

So my front SR5 DRL/Turn signals are 7444NA. So the 7440’s will work for the continuous service requirements of the DRL’s?

The 7444NA is still in testing and will be released end of December. You cannot use the 7440.

    Thanks for asking

Would love to see comparison pictures of the latest XD LEDs, deAutoLEDs and the Hikari (LUMILED) lights!

My glove box (2019 OR) doesn't have a light... is there a way to add one or is this an error?

LEDs won't come close to the HID - we are only selling our HID kits for the H11 LOW beam:
    http://deautokey.com/product/35w-slim-digital-ac-canbus-ballast-h7-h8-h11-h15-9006

We are testing some brighter LEDs in the fogs that will be out later that compete with Hikari - we will keep this updated here :)

If you do not have a light it won't work as it replace the OEM glass bulb.

So, I'm running a set of @deAutoLED.com 45w LED's bulbs in my high beams and I can tell you they are a HELL of a lot brighter and throw farther than the Hikari Phillips and the Hikari Cree. I can't speak on the XD's though, I haven't tested those.

I'm not sure if they have released these yet for purchase. Also, I believe they were designed for the high beams only....as far as I know. They do offer a great HID bulb for the low beams. I'm actually running those now and they are way brighter than the Hikari lumiled I had in there before.

Thanks for your honest feedback. The high beams are up for sale but only if you contact them which some already did - it takes more to install:
    ballast
    gold load resistors
    then the bulbs themselves
while more work and components you are not going to see anything brighter.

We are seeing if anyone can test them as fogs too as they work in high beams and fogs. They were hoping you would go back to stock to compare them to your current pod setup :) you might be surprised.

We are brighter than most popular brands on the market.

Why are they not for low beams?

It is a different beat when you are looking at projectors - the HID are the best and brightest that we offer.

Parker315 CAN test them in low beam if he wanted :) The team hates to ask too much but if he has the time he can for the forum it is up to him.

Gotcha. Ok, now I'm curious how these compare to Hikari high beams . If you haven't noticed..I have all Hikari LED up in the front so I like to see the comparisons to them haha.

They are brighter than the hikari in high beams - won't come close. :) Low beams or fogs we cannot speak.

We also have the new yellow/white/flashing fogs - simply turn bulb switch on/off:
    https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpjxc_ajyaS/

These are amazing - you don't have to spend hundreds more on the flashing feature - it is error free with white/hyper yellow but flashing will sometimes trigger a bulb out error but once you go back to solid yellow/white it goes away no errors.

    It can be found here:
    http://deautokey.com/product/dual-c...n-a-clean-white-hyper-3000k-yellow-at-anytime

And these are not your novelty ones you find on a.mazon/e.bay - they are the real deal.

If it wasn't too much trouble to uninstall the Morimoto XB fogs I have, then absolutely I would haha. Idk maybe I will for you guys will see.

The problem with the 45w LED and the low beams we are discussing is that the bulb size is large and it's a bit difficult to impossible to get them into the low beam housing on the Tacoma. Now, I can try and see what it looks like. That's an easy one, if I can get it to fit in the low beam.

Those deAutoLED 45W bulbs are incredibly bright and they are adjustable so you can get them to sit perfectly at 3&9 o'clock in the housing. I would be curious to see these in a fog light also, honestly.

When I tested the Hikari Phillips Lumiled vs the Hikari Cree in the fog lights. The Cree bulbs won that match significantly. The Hikari Phillips throw was very short in the fog housing. However the Hikari Phillips prevalied in the low beam projector over all others.
