i'm not a fan of the black door handles or side view mirror caps but the tint and wheels alone make it worth it. wish that was an option in 2018 but oh well :notsure:

Per Toyota’s website, I got mine without the “SX Package With Options” so I don’t have keyless entry but that is not a big deal for me. It is a V6 and I dig the SX package with the black accents. Also happy I got the color matched bumpers.

The wheels alone cost several hundred more than the $560 option. Wish my SR would of came with black wheels. I'll make them black with some wheels skins though if I don't find a nice set on ebay.

Did it come with the Munchkin seats? One of the reasons I bought the SR with utility package this time. Nice and open behind the back of the front seats. Not to mention the truck is blacked out besides the steel wheels.

Yes, deff comes with the rear munchkin seats but they fold up pretty nicely. I love my black wheels, the only silver is the small Toyota symbol in the center caps. The back seats are semi functional if in a pinch, but I see myself folding them up when buying groceries or other things I don’t want to put in the bed.

Yeah I always left them folded up on the '16 SR5 I traded off 9 months ago. Before I gave the dealership the check I had them remove the headrest though. As far as groceries go, I set mine in the passenger seat and on the passenger floorboard. I'm going to get a tonneau that I don't have to open it to close the tailgate then I might start setting them back there.

Inside the only chrome on my truck is the Toyota logo on the steering wheel and a chrome trim piece around the cup holder and square hole on the center console.

Good looking truck you have there. Oh, all 3rd gen access cabs have long beds. ;)

I NEED running boards, seat covers, and some sort of rack system for 13 foot surf fishing rods. I LOVE THIS TRUCK.

I WANT 3 inch lift kit, larger rims and tires, better shocks, some sort of under coating for beach sand driving protection (ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT HERE).

Fluid film for the underside unless you want the rust that I have from driving on a saltwater beach. Bilstein 6112/5160 combo, it is worth it. Have a pro put on the fronts so you don't tear a CV boot- from experience. 255/85 R16 over 265/75 R16, I have had both. I have the same white SR.

Has anyone put 255/85/16 on their stock steel wheels?

Do they really have to call it "Super White II"?
38 miles on it so nothing yet.
Did you do that or buy somewhere? It looks good but recessed much more than others I've seen.

I got the idea from a few other different vehicles that have a recessed grille. It seems to give trucks a really different look and I also liked the so called Satashi grille for early model Tacoma. I also really not a fan of somemof these nice looking aftermarket grilles where anyone wanting to maintain their TSS has to have an obvious big ole' square or rectangle on the bottom third of the grille. At least with this I maintained the OEM center and all the TSS functions without a hiccup. I literally started by recessing the entire OEM grille and then drove with it and began taking sections or pieces off it to see if I liked the look. The one last potential mod would be to take the final horizontal "bar" out and have it all aluminum painted mesh around the center.
