You just gotta see it first hand. That's what Tim's going to tell you anyways, I know he doesn't want to answer a million questions on here.

IIRC it was extended right in the middle of the frame, in between the transmission xmember and carrier bearing xmember. He cut a section out of the double cabs frame and added it in, with a lot of additional plating as well.

The immortal words of Ayn Rand:

There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.
    Ayn Rand

Damn, she was so ahead of her time.

Pics like this make me hate the backspacing of those wheels more and more. Hopefully that will be fixed in a few months.

    I have mods
Changed spark plugs this morning and properly routed the plug wires. They were all messed up from the previous owner. Seems a little smoother now. At least they had the correct plugs in there. Then my spare tire/wheel were finally ready for pickup at 4Wheel Parts here in Tucson. Went and got that and picked up a HighLift jack while I was there. I think I can use the stock rear bumper with the jack but only if I'm changing a tire on a flat surface. I won't trust it for much more. The front will be a different matter. I really need to get some sliders so I can use those instead. Also welded a socket to my Gorilla keyed socket and painted it so it's easy to find if dropped. Welds are shit but they will work for this.

Tire and jack get to sit locked up in the bed for now. Have an appointment next Tuesday to have the bed LineX'd and then I can start deciding how I'm going to mount everything. Oh, and this was the cheapest rim they could get. $5 cheaper than the cheapest steel rim in a 16x8 size. It's a spare so I really don't care that much.

Picked up my Limited seats that I had done in leather. I've reached the end of the road in this build. I will install these this weekend.

Yeah it may help but I just refuse to let people put me in a position where I think I have to hide my plates. Its something that people see everyday. Nothing wrong with covering them, just not a place I am going to let people put me.

I'm likely going to sell it in the coming months. I have chronic knee pain and shifting in traffic sucks. I also have carpel tunnel in one hand so I don't find much joy in wrenching anymore.

Ah that sucks. Can understand the shifting in traffic though.

Bet it will sell fast. If I'm remembering right your is super low miles right?

Super high miles about 269k which means it's worth about two Little Cesuras hot n' ready and one Grand Am and $1000 in loose change
