Finally cracked down. I was always checking in on this forum for ideas and info, why not create a profile?

Had a 96' Taco 5 spd, Had a 14' Taco 5 spd, FINALLY could get a hold of a 17' TRD Sport MGM 6spd which I absolutely love. Coming up on 2 years now, here are a few pics of mods and upgrades...

    DB Customz Grill
    Cali Raised LED Light Bar
C4 Fabrication Rock Sliders (Powder Coated Black with Bronze Screws)
    Tinted Front Windows

Thinking about Coopers STT Pro Tires once I figure out which rims will look best. As well as a Prinsu Cab Rack.

    God I love this truck!!

@Tacohumper13 is it water tight? I want a hard shell but they are spendy, soft toppers are cheaper but I assume they don't hold up to weather as well and I doubt I'll comfortably sleep in a 5 foot bed anyway. So a RTT may be the only option for me.

It’s not waterproof but it’s water resistant I would say. I’ve been in snow and rain with it, kept the inside dry. Only time I’ve gotten water in it is when I pressure washed it, but that’s a given.

I like how I can take it off and on. It’s simple.

Easy to tell the dark gray is my favorite color...except on Harleys.

Absolutely loving your wheel set up!! That's exactly want i want to get for my truck but i'm going to wait a bit since i've been blowing money on other mods.
Originally I was planning on getting those exact rims in black since i didn't think the grey would look good but DAMN your post has me contemplating now. How do you like having the grey rims on?? Got any more pics? and how much was it all in total? rims and tires.
    TIA!

I love them dude! I was originally going to get black 309s as well but then I saw the gray ones on a Tundra and that was it for me. I haven’t had much time to trail her yet with how crazy life has been so I only have a couple pictures of her:drunk:. As for the cost of the setup it was originally about $1900 for both the wheels and tires after install. The tires have a total use warranty on them so if anything were to happen they get replaced. I’ve spent significantly more since those 285/75/16s though getting a second set of tires in 265 because I couldn’t bring myself to CMC a new truck :help:. Nice rig you’ve got there though!

Nice! I'll def keep all that info in mind once i decide to get my wheels. The price is really good too, just what i'm looking to spend. In regards to the CMC, i don't blame you lol. Thanks so much man!

Had to put stone guard back on hood before they start putting lava rock on the roads. Mud flaps soon. All will come back off in spring?20181116_175428.jpg 20181116_175535.jpg
