We float a section of the lower salmon and connect into the snake. This particular picture would be on the snake about a mile down river from the confluence of the snake and salmon.

Have to ask. Was this a work related trip? And where were your put in/take out locations. Just curious as I was looking at the rivers on CalTOPO and didn't see any likely spots.

Work trip. I monitor the tributaries flowing in the salmon. We put in at Hammer Creek (near white bird, ID) and take out at Hellerbar (near asotin, WA).

Thanks! It's good here. Still some occasional smoke wafting in from CA but Laramie is still Laramie. I just got back a few weeks ago from FJ Summit, that was a blast. In June we went up and worked on the cabin in Montana for a week. Wanting to get back up there before snow flies and completely dry it in. We'll see if that happens, may skip hunting this year. I didn't apply for a special tag for that reason. It's pretty where you are, I really like that part of Idaho. We originally even looked at some properties in that region and around Salmon but eventually settled on NW MT. Hope things are good. Tell the Mrs. hello and thanks for the referral. I'll buy you a beer some time!

How's Baby T? still got it?

Looks like the pup is loving life! Our 3 are doing well. We had only one dog fight since my friend took Sam. They seem to have worked things out now.

Life is going well over here! Been busy and allowing work to take over some of my personal time. I'm trying to set up a fly fishing trip for a local high school fly tying class (how cool is that? I wish I had that as an elective choice) and a veterans fishing trip as well. Joined a few local groups to be more involved with the town and now I have no free time .

Still hoping every weekend to get BabyT in the garage and I know it's going to happen soon haha. If I can't do it soon, I'll just have a local shop drop in a used engine.

Happy as can be. He gets to come out fishing with me on my days off . We are finally getting some snow too so he is stoked to go outside and roll in it .

Ash is about 80lbs. And o no! Haha, I am lucky in that we never had a run in with a skunk. My parents seemed to have one skunk run in a summer with their aussies. They would wash them up with a special soap and then leave them outside until the smell lessened.

Happy birthday and new year to you!

My New Years resolution is to get my truck running. So BabyT is going to the shop as it’s obvious I don’t have the time I’d like .

This has been a tough year and I appologize to all my friends on here. I haven’t been around the forum as much as I want and I hope to change that in 2019.

    Cheers guys!
