Anybody know anything about furnaces and or thermostats?
My Honeywell has been shutting down , going into off mode. I reset it and it worked for awhile and my wife said it shut off again
    Ideas?

I know nothing but mine was just doing the opposite, it was staying on. I had the heat set to 64 and it was in the 70's in here. Called the landlord and plumber was here the next morning. Renting has some rewards

I am wondering if I have it on the schedule that I’m not aware of. Good thing I have a woodstove. I noticed earlier that the thermostat was satisfied but I turned up the heat up to like 75 To see what happened .
I didn’t notice that it was set to off .
I had to walk my wife through it over the phone turned it back on and the heat worked and then it shut off again by itself .
So I’m not sure whether I have it on a schedule mode or not that I’m aware of

I don't plow, never had, never had the opportunity.
What I don't understand is that V plows were available 20 years ago.
They seemed like a pissa idea in my (mechanics) head at the time!

So how come no one bought them?

Got it set to 70 and house temp says 68( it seems to not rise to meet 70)
Got home just now and it says I’m on permanent hold.
I have never intentionally set a schedule that I am aware of.

I've actually been reading a fair amount about the benefits of different plow types and approaches the past few days. It seems to come down to two things

    1) They are about 20% more expensive than a straight blade
    2) People are used to using a straight blade

People are hesitant to switch to a more expensive piece of equipment when the straight blade has worked well for so long, and that's what they are used to. As more and more people use them, they start selling more and more. So it has taken time to get the numbers up, I think sales of v-plow to regular blade have finally switched and it's at least 50-50 if not v-plows taking a small lead.

Looks similar to the one I just put in my house.

(I have not been 100% happy with it. :()

Okay that looks like an old 6000 series, but, not 100%.
Not anything like that currently available through Honeywell.
If you wanted, you could pull the face off the back plate, and get the model, then get the lit for it.
But, sounds like its time for w new one anyway.
Do you have forced hot air? Or boiler?
    Gas or oil?
These things can get as complex or as simple as you want
If you have just heat, and never use the schedule, get a t87, call it a day
