:pout: that makes me ancient :pout:

next time, fill some buckets from the snow/ice outside. Put next to your stove to melt it.

Not happy with the commissary system.... according to the manager here, they can only order stuff that sells at one of the big commissaries  I don't want that stuff!!! I want what we used to have!!! Seems like they keep changing stuff for more expensive stuff.... Have heard lots of complaints... Might have to do special order for my peanut butter!!!

    evening all

Sat in the middle of a cornfield for 3-1/2 hours watching a meteor shower. Partly cloudy so we didnt see much. Still enjoyed the time. Quiet....no phone signal....no lights....just us and the sky.

All my guns except a few are old school deep blueing and satin walnut.ive got a 45-70 guide gun that has nice walnut but thinkin bout gettin a custom high grade walnut made for it. it was my bear gun but is retired. it does knock the crap out of deer with heavy Buffalo Bore shells that recoil like a dang sledge hammer on your shoulder.

So, you can sit at the kitchen table, have bacon and eggs that were made on wood stove in the garage, and hunt deer. Don't forget to open the window/door before you shoot. Good Luck

And that is fine if you are not introducing an alternate power source into your system. You are unplugging a device from one source and plugging into another source. No mechanical possibility of back feeding your system and the grid.

Freezing fog this morning. Dense fog and 28 degrees. I was deer hunting. Decided a nap was more fun.

A couple years back I taught a friend of mine to shoot, the next day he was shooting in his first pistol match (it was a steel fun match nothing too crazy) There was also a claybird match at the range as well, at lunch he was checking out the shotguns. I told him that it was one of the few places he could admire someone else’s wood.
