I wash them after every outing with freshwater and dawn

 

I’ve never used soap on any of my suits newb.

Run the hose through it or take it off in the shower after a cold sesh and good to go..

After rinsing in fresh water, I make sure to hang my wetsuit to thoroughly dry before putting it away.

 

I've used that rip curl piss off before

like anything, the situation and conditions vary

not everyone goes pee pee in there lol

I have friends who live 5 minutes from the beach, and others 2 hours from the beach

2 hours is more than enough time to get some stink going before it gets the rinse at home and the showers here on LI are not on during the winter

hopefully with enough ocean warming we can all leave the neoprene at home



should prob also mention that talking wetsuits is like talking tires

the scuba suit the surfing suit and the triathlon suit are all a bit different, shit I even think body boarders now sell their "specific" suits iirc

not even getting into more specifics y'all catch my drift

 

I just like to make it TRY to smell nice

 

I use baby shampoo to put on my open cell free dive suit. Stays nice and fresh.

 

mine are always dry before I put them away but its an hour drive to and from te beach sometimes more so the smell sets in

 

I pee in my wetsuit all the time.

Every. Single. Time.

I think my brain is permanently programmed to pee in my wetsuit once I hit the water.

lmfao do you need a wetsuit? all depends on what you are looking for and what will fit you and ease of putting it on. my spring suit is a 4/3 no hood and my winter suit is a 5/4 good for 40 degree water. I use 7mm gloves and 7mm booties in the winter as well. I also have a 7mm hood that Ill use time to time if the spring/fall air is cold

yeah part of peeing in Lloyds wetsuit prereqs is owning a wetsuit. thats why I bought one
