eBay TRD Pro grill aftermarket, which one is best? or does it matter??

I have the same one. Feels and looks high quality. Install fitment was perfect. Only downside is the T and the A have a gray color backing, but I stopped noticing it after the first day.

 

I know I wanted to see what the grill looked like not installed

Not sure why "saved" is in quotes. You actually do save a lot of money.

 

To all the people who try to justify spending $300+ on their grille, mine was $60 shipped and doesn’t look any different. Yeah those other $240 went towards other mods

Go with eBay. Cheap and exactly the same.

Yeah I thought about painting that gray backing on those letters but decided not to worry about it as I was anxious to get it on. Only myself and a minority of other Taco owners will ever notice. Doesn't bother me at all now.

 

Dummy question here but does this one come with the Toyota letters? The pix at the top of the eBay listing do not show any lettering but at the bottom of the listing they do. *shrug* Thx.

 

I think most of the listings are photoshopping out the letters or blurring them, probably so they don't get hit by Toyota. Seems like most/all come with the letters. What I don't get is why the T and A don't have a backing piece on the grille standard on most of them, I don't really want one that has mismatched colors.

Got mine on ebay for $86 I am very pleased as there was no way I was paying the price for OEM. I know what it is and really don't care if anyone else doesn't like my china grill, on MY truck!

 

So I got mine installed today and it looks great. It fit well and looks like it should.
I’m glad I went this route cause the OEM price is not justified IMO.

 

That is nucking futz! $600 for a couple pounds of ABS? Holy hell. And people bitch about fuel economy!

 

I call BS. There’s no way anyone would spend $600 for an aftermarket Pro Grill.
That’s just mind boggling.

 

Paid $79 for mine off Ebay. The only issue was the thin double sided tape that came to hold the letters. It just didn't seem strong.

 

$75 eBay - no clips cracked looked good (i make plastic parts )
$3 can of black plastic mat paint - to cover the silver letters
$4 some plastic epoxy glue- so i could stick the letters on better than the tape so they never come off

so for under $100 i have a grill that with my luck it will get cracked with a rock in a few years anyhow, so i can replace it a few times. so if you don't have a "show" truck... save the money

the flash messed up the vinyl a bit / its closer but just a little off... better than silver..

 

That’s what I want to do.
But instead of red I’m going to do white to match my truck.
