Those 2 are still out for preorder. Should be able to snag them up. Most of my space is taken up by First4Figures MegaMan and Zelda statues. The detolf are holding amiibos, POPs, and other smaller items. Also have some other game CE stuff (BF1, Skyrim, Doom, etc).

There's also a plasma rifle, super sledge, and power fist I didn't PO. Too much space for those guys. Still need to figure out where my PA helmet is going.

I would have loved to get my hands on a Doom Marine statute. Alas I was too late.

I just looked for the Dog Meat and Vault Girl statues and they're sold out, though I wonder how the 76 dog hoodie will look on my chihuahua.

think geek is still showing them as open for preorders.

The Doom CE I have is the Revanent statue from the reboot.

Thanks. I might download on the PC next week when I have available time. Yea, it’s hard to tell who to listen to online since it could be anyone, even a 15 year writing the review. I always take what people say online with a grain a salt. Do my research and come to my own conclusion.

Are you using a controller on the PC? I was thinking of using my PS4 controller since I’ll be playing on my laptop. It’s a razer 14” w/16gb ram and a 1060 GPU.

Wise man and nice laptop.

I'm using ye ol' trusty mouse and keyboard, but if I was playing on a laptop I'd invest in a controller. No way I could play this game (or any other) on a laptop without at least a separate mouse. A controller would be much much easier.

Steer clear of the fissure, until your a high level and have some power armor. Or have a team of like, I don’t know maybe 30 lol. Fucking scorchbeast. Also read there is a queen (lvl 95), if you nuke that site, she appears. Maybe someday I’ll get to that point, but probably won’t return until then.

I also seen one around the airport one night. Air raids went off, I just hid like a little girl.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Watched the video on the Queen last night. They also had 3 regular scorch beasts to contend with at the same time.

Normally, I would agree that one should form their own opinion regarding a game. But I can't honestly say that social media is manipulating the Fallout audience here... The game deviates greatly from the Fallout formula. There is little to no story, the ability to freeze time and target enemies is gone, real time accuracy figures are wildly variable, PvP is essentially worthless (if they don't agree to your duel you will be able to inflict little damage on them), and finally the game is extremely buggy.

I think its a great idea to spend one's time forming their own opinion. But when Fallout 76 is a steaming pile of bugs/glitches and has no true Fallout essence, I have to do my due diligence and tell people to save their money. Bethesda is a AAA developer, I'm absolutely dumbfounded that they could release Fallout 76 like this.

Yea I just watched the video, guess it took around 3 hours or something crazy. That’s insane. Was 8 of them too. They used a ton of resources and got pretty much nothing in return. Although I seen some type of rare element or something is exposed after using the nuke that you can use for upgrades or something.

Doesn’t seem worth it to me, but if you get bored of the normal game and looking for some tough action, there is always this. Lol

I wouldn’t say the game deviates far from the others. I’m still a lower level and haven’t done a ton of quests, but the story isn’t as good as the previous games. Or so it seems I think mainly that’s due to the lack of NPC within the game. VATS does suck now but in real time you can’t have VATS freeze time like before. As for bugs, I’m surprised i haven’t really encountered many in the hours of play I’ve already done. I’ve had a few times where a enemy just kinda froze and stood there and a few slight times where after they are dead they still kinda move a little. Fallout 4 had 30 times the bugs IMO at release. I can’t tell you how many times I used to get my character stuck someone’s and couldn’t move, and the map glitch out. Never once has that happened to me in 76. I did 2 instances where the server or game froze. Just closed the game and reopened and progress was saved. Didn’t lose tons of time and resources like I would have in previous fallout games.

The game is different, for those that have played previous fallout games maybe it’s harder for us to adapt. I’m sure some of the game was based around the popularity of fortnite. Basically like anything they are looking to expand the game and it’s sales and following popular trends.

Who’s not to say the won’t have another release at some point following along the lines of the older classic fallout serious. Time will tell. Guess it will depend how many copies they sell and how active people are playing the game.

Thanks. I’ve been away from the desktop scene for a long time and only pickup this laptop because I got a killer deal on it. I like it. Reminds me of my gf MacBook Pro Mid 2012 on the built side. However it’s a little lighter, thinner (no cd tray), better hardware, and runs windows.

I couldn’t game on a laptop for sure without a decent mouse and I would probably want a standalone keyboard too from what I’m used too. So I figure a controller would be my best bet for a small footprint. Nothing beats an old fashioned KB/M combo especially for FPS. If anything I might hook it up to a separate monitor for a bigger picture.

There was a video released where group obtain a nuke code through a “cheat?”. I didn’t watch the whole video so I don’t know if they killed the queen and what they got from it.

I could understand what you are saying. Have you played the game or are you just basing your opinion from what you have seen and read online?

I have seen/read quite a bit. But I’ve only logged 10 hours on a friends copy/account. He’s so dissatisfied that he’s not even touching it anymore unless it gets fixed.

Fair enough. I’m not a huge fan of the FO series and only played FO4. Like most RPG games I don’t finish the story because I get side tracked. I did like the game. There are some concepts of 76 that I am concerned about. No NPC so the quest might not pull you in. Crafting and team play seems to be the games main point. However maybe some people are coming into this game expecting it to play like the previous FO series instead of treating it like a separate game on its own. If I was to play it I would treat it like a separate game from the other FO games since I haven’t played most of them and don’t know much of the lore. When it comes down to it aren’t all these online games the same, leveling up and getting better items?

PvP is sort of ridiculous too. I challenged someone by shooting them (did very little damage), he then shot me and did immense damage. It seems as though the person responding to a duel request will always have the upper hand. His first shot against me does real damage. So we are already starting at an unequal playing field.

Has anyone downloaded a game from Green Man Gaming? Wondering where is the best place to purchase this online with the best download speed. Also they have it for $52.79.

Sounds like a good time. I’m scoring a PS4 next week and making the switch over. How has the experience been?
