Got the front falcon shocks installed, they are 1 inch longer than the stock bilstein shocks. The build quality on these shocks is awesome, the packing the shocks came in is probably the best I’ve seen, the install instructions, Install itself was awesome and I’m impressed so far. Shocks ride great. Still need to get some on and Offroad miles on the to make sure they stay awesome. I set them to level and seems like I got about 1 3/4 lift.

So you set them in the middle groove?
What are your initial impressions, how is the brake dive? The brake dive bugs me more then anything with the stock Bilsteins.

The brake dive is for sure less doesn’t feel like such a boat anymore, cornering feels a lot better, the truck just feels more planted and stable. These have 3 settings, medium, level, and heavy accessories. I have them set on level which is the middle.

I’ll get some pics first thing in morning, and I’m taking the truck and my samurai out to Johnson valley next week so I’ll have a better idea how it feels Offroad.

What’s left of a samurai I guess. Still has the original samurai motor, trans, and tcase.

Here are some pics of the truck from the side, truck is pretty much level, maybe a little high in the front.

    Looks good.
Did you get 1 and 3/4 lift in the front or
    1 to 3/4?
Please keep us updated on your impressions.

These rears are nearly the same as stock, I’m surprised they don’t have an option for a lift in the rear.

The rears were what was originally drawing me to this setup. After hearing the length it’s off the list. Too bad because they seem nice.

These are not much longer than stock, they’ll be ok for an AAL but replacement leaf packs are a no go. They should really offer a couple options just like every other manufacturer does so you can use them when you don’t have stock leafs.

I got about 1 3/4 - 2 inches of lift, I had a spacer on the factory springs so that’s my estimate.

Also tested them on a long dirt lot right next to my house, I am usually able to go about 30 ish mph down it and the front and rear both bottom out on a few parts with small whoops. Last night I flew down it at about 45 mph and if it did bottom out I couldn’t feel felt a lot more controllable.

They sell this kit with 1 1/4 lift blocks so that’s the most lift they recommend with the shocks. I don’t plan on going higher than that.

I like the fact that they are the same collapsed and extended length in the rear because with the bumpstops they include I don’t have to worry about the shock bottoming out in the mount and let the bumpstops do the work on a really hard bump. On the front it’s sweet that they are 1 inch more travel but the same overall body length so once again I can rely on the bump stops to do the work.
