it's all in this thread. not that it's so easy but yes you can do it yourself with a laptop, get Techstream installed, get the .cuw file and install yourself, then the test files are around here as well. if you can do the TSB yourself then that would be your best way forward to expedite.

Should I review 1.05? I've got about 700 miles on it..
Yeah I'll give a quick one.
    So 1.05 87 MA.
Power is great, best yet, and I've been on every version of the tune all the way up to current. There is still a pretty big surge at 3500 but it's pretty much been there the whole time and I'm used to it now. Don't mind the surge just wish that power was available down lower...
Rev hang and what I will call "throttle chicanery" is, while improved over the stock (Pre B13) tune, is MORE pronounced than it was on 1.04. I felt with 1.04 the rev hang was pretty much dealt with, but not quite. Now it's back a little more. There is also a more noticeable surge during deceleration at about 1500 RPMs that I really wish would go away.
All of that said, driving it around now I really don't notice much. Which is an improvement, as stock, as all of us know, this truck has quirky behavior. It is very close now to what I would call a cable throttle feel. The best DBW comparison I have is a Chevy 2500 6.0L suburban and I've always been happy with how it responded, this is now pretty close to that. So the tune is becoming invisible, which I mean as a positive thing. Would still like to see rev hang completely dealt with, as that is the original reason I got the tune. I'm also waiting on a part to eliminate the clutch accumulator, which should get this truck most of the way to feeling what I would call "normal".
I really want to give the full OTTO tunes a run, but I drive a lot of miles and having a hard time justifying the additional $.30/gallon for 91 octane. Might give it a run for a tank or two though. Would be really interested (if it's something in the works I don't know), in an 87 full otto version. Would be willing to give up .5 mpg or whatever for more low end and less quirkiness.
    Anyways that's what I got.

Try the 91MA tune seriously. Rev hang is pretty much gone and the 3500 kick is barely noticeable. Fuel is a little more but the drivability is worthwhile.

DFCO is bothering more than it ever has before. I’m not sure if that’s because it’s more noticeable or everything else is so much better it’s the only thing to complain about

Your right on both, but keep in mind the additional power down low in the revs too.
Coming from TSB my self,it is very noticeable.Unless OV can refine the tip in more witch I dowte as I have never remembered it smoother than this.
While I am trying to adapt to it,I beleave it will always bother me and I think you will see more and more taco owners notice this too.
I hope this is still on OVs to do list or doesn't push it back to far with the turbo project.
Remember, for the best throttle by cable feel DFCO andREVHANG must go.

am i the only one who thinks Otto is the only way? all the early talk of low end response, and for my truck there is just no comparing Otto to MA for a sharp, quick, and filled out throttle from idle. I'm just surprised it hasn't become a thing around here. i would never run anything else if 93FO or 91FO are available. just wondering if anyone out there has a similar experience..

I haven’t tried it yet. I’m on the 4th tank of fuel in a 5 tank cycle. Then I’ll try it out.
