Very nice, make sure you get the quick-disconnect for the sway bar when offroading, really helps on the trails......

If you lift it (I don't remember how high) then you need long arm. It is to let you have more articulation (basicaly).

No coil springs on that one..... only leaf springs.

But he could put a god-aweful amount of money into it and put coils under it.

Nice!! If you have any questions.....just ask. I've had a 92 and a 94 that I built as trail rigs. This is what we had on it - sold it last summer.

Yeah, doesn't take much to break the Dana 35.

    KaoskrewPB,
Put in a pair of Dana 44 axles from a Grand Wagoneer - with 6 on 5.5 lug pattern. That was probably the best damn thing I did to my jeep!!!

You are in fact looking at a 1993 Inline 6 cylinder. The only V6 that was in jeeps was back in the late 80's when they used GM's POS 2.6 liter. That there is a 4.0L 242 C.I. straight 6. It is pretty much bulletproof. Torque monster.

I've heard lots of good things about the online 6. I know aguy that talks about knocking down decent size trees with his. Hopefully you may be actually getting a I-6

The guy just advertized it wrong. If it is a 6 cylinder then it is the straight 6. If its not a 6 then its their 2.4L 4 cylinder that is still decent. They never had v6's in the 93-2004.

My bad. my brother has a wrangler with coils. He got me confused cause he was talking about long arm.

Well I just found out that I get my truck back tomorrow, so I gues it is a lucky day for both of us tomorrow.

No there is only one 6 cylinder for that year. It's the 4.0L straight 6. Sorry. I just read what I wrote and it sounds stupid.

I had a Grand Wagonneer Dana 44 rear-end and it did not have a c-clip and already 6 lug pattern.

Surely, a Dana 60 is 'da bomb' but WAY overkill for someone just getting into a trail rig.

Why? The 4.0 High Output I6 is tons better than alot of V6s produced during that time. Hell, it's better than alot of V6s produced today.

Nothing wrong with leaf springs....in fact, they're less complicated and less things to go wrong.

Don't skimp on a winch or it will skimp on you when you need it. Get yourself a nice WARN 9500. Look around for used ones if you can.

    Never offroad alone!!!

I had a 68' Kaiser built CJ5 that was almost stock except for flipping the axles to get the leaf packs where they belong,,, on top of them, 225 Buick V6 not a real high revver, but torquey, cut & shortened Ford 9" posi rear end, old school Borg-Warner 3 speed T-14 w/ OD, that fucker had a lever for everything.. a lever for engaging the transfer, one for 4H, one for 4L,, one for the OD (& PTO) & the stick shift itself, those early year Jeeps can be fun but pretty unforgivable on inclines or approaching obstacles at any angle more than 15 maybe 20 degrees, they had no "feel" to them when you get close to the "tipping point". It was like you could tell you were at an angle, go a little more & over you went, not like our Tacomas (at least my 1st gen anyway) You know how it is when you're articulating & that rear wheel kicks up about 2ft in the air, you "feel it', you feel the "teetering" (balance point) & yeah it is a freaky feeling but you know you still have control & can go forwards, or backwards still to re-align yourself with the obstacle for a better approach, I've got at least 2 pics where my wheel is more like 3-4 ft in the air (oh what a feelin') but that damned Jeep being so short & narrow, just never felt safe in it, on road or off...........
