check for frame rust. If it's clean, and the oil has been changed at least once, it might be a good deal.

No rust, other than some stains on the front seats it was really nice.

Great turnout, good wheeling and food. And we made it through the last big drift to take the summit.

Dumbass question of the day. I've never noticed rhis on any other set of tires. Are these cracks on the sidewall lugs indicative of a tread separation?

 

maybe I have a vibration not because of balance but because the tread is trying to evacuate

Maybe.
But the tiny cracks in the sides are indicative of old and dry. Weather checked. Might be why they ride like they are unbalanced.

 

DOT code 2012. Won't be surprised if Discount tells me to get bent on Monday lol

Damn I'm beat. Wheeling is hard.

 

Nope, bought them from some 4x4 shop guy on FB but they were new so DT sold me warranty certs for all of them which is part of this mess. When I bought the certs they told me it was no different than having bought the tires from them but now several years later they're saying that it is a different story and the certs don't apply in the same way

 

Mounting it in a useless location like that would've made it a lot easier to add one to the trailer!

Hopefully test it out tomorrow.

I’ve seen a few 3rd gens on a bunch of trails. Granted they never had much lift or larger tires. But from talking to them it’s on the list of things they want/need
