I’m not sure I understand. Both my gauge and the 7th software tell me HG/PSI. And as far as I can remember they were both pretty close when tuning.

Mine are the CaliRaised side kick ditch lights, so I wouldn’t think they would take that much or certainly no more voltage than a light bar. It seems to be a very slow drain, if it sits for a few days.

Must be in the mountains to be using fluid film in NC?

Edit: Saw that you said it was a previously coated VA truck.

Yes. I have a PLX DM-6 I watched it at WOT and I was damn near 8psi. Which is weird to me. I’m wondering if partially clogged cats could make it higher. I’m pretty sure I’ve read that removing the cats will reduce your boost psi a little.

I hit about 7.60 psi with the stock pulley, same gauge as you. I have headers and wipe open exhaust though, it'd be interesting to see if removing your cats made any difference.

That’s interesting. I’ve also read that headers will lower the boost a bit as well.

Plan is to take a look at them when I find the time to lay on my back all day and cut a rounded nut off the flange to the first cat. Those Studs/nuts are a nightmare. I’m hoping that once I get that nut off the studs will back out easy.

Did the Add a Leaf and it seems the angle really exacerbated an already whooped center support bearing. Mine wobbled at 20-30 mph. Upon inspection, I saw that the old bearing was mega totalled with the rubber boot shredded. Easy job. I'd just say, remember to replace the old washers on both sides of the flange. Didn't have to use puller as it came right off. I'd imagine the crux is setting and resetting the flange nut to torque spec. I'd also recommend buying that nut new as it didn't come with my Timekin bearing. It cost $4 at Toyota Parts. I've also seen two different part numbers for the nut. Might be different for different years so it's best to provide them with a VIN. Job took ~1.5 hrs but I was screwing the pooch in between.

Couldn't you find a place to remount the original canister under the truck somewhere?

$1,173 out the door from a local dealer. And that included the lug nuts. He also gave me a $75 discount.

Are you going to color match those to your truck?

Seriously, those are really nice. Post when you get them mounted.

Yeah, didn’t see the sun for about a week there. I’ve got a Camry for a daily driver after seeing some of the guys trucks from the rust belt I’ve decided the truck stays home when the roads get salted.

Hmmm I have the light bar disconnected til I figure out what I'm doing. My truck is more of a weekend vehicle so I don't want to deal with the battery dying if I don't drive it every day :)
