    Hey Everyone,
I was wondering what everyone always has in their Tacoma, whether it be a go bag or just one item? Interested to see as to what everyone has. Just got my Tacoma a week ago and am trying to think of a few things to store in here “in case of emergency” or ever getting stuck and having to walk out. Thanks in advance! I appreciate it.

I carry a survival backpack in my Taco. It has all kinds of goodies to survive a couple of days in the boonies. I also always carry a shovel, tow strap, air compressor, and tire plug kit.

I live in the Bay Area, all I need is my cell phone.

When going on trips I pack the important stuff.

I’m near civilization and within cell reception 98% of the time. So doomsday survival kit does not occupy precious cargo space or take away payload. What I do carry:
    - Tow strap (esp now going into snow season)
    - Shackles
    - Basic tools (sockets, pliers, etc).

That’s it. List gets longer if I go on a road trip or camping.

To add to the list, I carry a emergency road triangle that folds up, a cheap blanket from Mexico, a two wire coat hangers.

I carry a glass break tool that acts as a self defense tool and, well, a pen also! I would like to carry my Glock, but Maryland is a horrible state for anything related to protecting yourself and your family.
I just need to learn HOW to use this little tool properly. Makes a neat gadget gift too.

I carry this too. A seatbelt cutter tool.

A good flashlight, a small "get home" backpack with three bottles of water and other hiking essentials, my trusty old Kabar, couple pairs of gloves for different situations in the glove box (work gloves and winter gloves), hiking boots and good socks are always in the back of the truck, an umbrella. And the usual stuff one should always keep in their car like jumper cables.

My truck could leave me stranded pretty much anytime anywhere and I'd be good for at least a couple of days if needed. I tend to always leave the house dressed for the season.

If anyone is interested in making a good get home bag, Tim of the Military Arms Channel recently put up a pretty good video talking about that subject.
