I am wrapping my truck next week and due to staying on a budget, I have decided to only wrap half of it in satin black. This brought up the idea of me thinking...what color would you wrap your truck? I still have the opportunity to change the color to cement or something similar, but I am just inquiring in case. Here's a rough, rough idea of what it will look like.

I’ve been wanting to add something to my Black 15 but haven’t pulled the trigger. I don’t want to wrap whole truck. Just add a little something. Been thinking about adding some Cement or Matte Black.

Well... I would never wrap my truck.

But if I was forced with a gun to my head... white.

I'm an avid detailer. Wraps are very labor intensive to maintain without scratching and creating visible imperfections in the wrap with washes. I'd go Line-X rather than wrap. Make life easier, not harder.

I will be going matte gunmetal grey next wrap

Its matte black right now, year 3 on this wrap and still going strong. :cookiemonster:

It should be noted, I do not wash the wrap ever. I wash the underside of my truck, and under the hood after much wheeling. The wrap is the biggest PITA to get clean. So I dont bother, I like how it looks dirty all the time. I actually got 'ghosted decals' that only show up when the truck is dirty. Looks amazing in my eyes.

My signature is my bed side 'ghosted decal' with just the perfect dirt on it, looks all dry brushed and shit. I love it. You can see from the 3 pictures of the truck, it is usually invisible.

I guess if I had the money to do a good wrap I’d do something iridescent. Something you wouldn’t see in paint. It’s become a big thing with frugal pro athletes. A new wrap every 6 months is much cheaper than buying a new Bugatti.

Here's a slightly less rough version. I did a black layer then set it to slightly transparent. I can change the color or pattern if you're interested.

I think if I wrapped or dipped my truck I'd have to go for a really bright flashy color like safety cone orange or hi vis yellow... since it is removable might as well have fun with it lol. Saw a cool one on a guys YouTube channel where he either wrapped or dipped his corvette in a rainbow of colors that where in the shape of prisms and such... something like that would be sweet imo... here's what I'm referring to:

I love these old Toyota competition liveries. I’d probably go with a wrap similar to this but without the sponsor logos

I've always thought it would be awesome for Toyota to offer this as an option on the Pros or something. Love that livery!

I think it looks good, especially with what you wanna do for your new youtube channel.

Only complaint I have is you will be associated with the soon the be Las Vegas Raiders now haha
