    I got 45k out of my 285 Toyo AT2s and they still had 30% tread. Running my last one as my spare when I switched to duratracs.
    Thought I wanted the more aggressive duratrac but they’re soft AF and I haven’t been on dirt as much as I anticipated.
    I’ll be going to cooper ST Maxx or back to the Toyo AT2 next for the longevity and less aggressive tread.

    I’m on my second set of Toyo at2s. First set lasted 45k and had a little bit of life left but i bought another set of 285/75/16 before a big trip i had in sept. They’ve been great to me. Gotten me through a lot. Only time i had issues was after 40k, low tred left, full psi in the snow but once i got to a spot to air down, was all good again.

    Thinking about doing something more aggressive soon and going to the st maxx and maybe upsizing to 295.

    I had KM2s. Got 43,000 miles outta them. 40,000 was probably when I should have ditched them, but they held up alright in the dirt and rock. Wanted the KM3's but they weren't out yet in the size I wanted. Got the Geolanders by Yokohama. Very happy with them.

    Spotted: NORCAL TACOMA FIRE RELIEF WAGONS

    I initially suggested we do a donation run to Oroville for fire victims. My wife and I were so struck by the devastation in Paradise. I felt compelled to get up there with clothing, and other necessities, and I wanted to do it immediately. That day. I tried to get it going on Monday, Veterans Day, or maybe during the week. That proved to be logistically impossible.

    But, thanks to Matt @Uphillshunter , who had similar notions, and had suggested Saturday, it happened.

    Here are the list of participants:
    @Uphillshunter
    @Fernando
    @rob1208
    @Twizted
    @Sharkfrog
    @CalTacoma09
    @Papadave418
    @lucky13don
    @Don5352
    @dweikum Who donated but was unable to attend.

    Here are just a few of the things we gathered up prior to departure.

    20181116_163925.jpg 7D93901F-E0C0-4B4B-92CF-BFC494CD7EB4.jpg DF71C33D-6066-4FB8-9380-C0F484B2F247.jpg CCF75C0B-AA12-4F2D-AABB-00634C934101.jpg 20181115_184857.jpg

    After everyone was loaded up we met at the WalMart near Arco Arena in Sacramento. All but one. We met @Twizted in Yuba City for the run into Gridley.
    There we made our first donations at a spot that a friend of Matts wife was running.

    This gave us our first opportunity to show off our Relief Wagons.

    20181117_103636.jpg

    From here it was on to Oroville to the Church of Nazarene. Turns out they were so overwhelmed with evacuess, and supplies, that were we directed to the Hope Center. My friend Dale Marsh, from the Church, directed us to the proper location, and even flagged us down on the street when we pulled up. The Hope Center was well organized. Even this place was being overwhelmed, and a new spot is being identified for storage of goods. They had a nice set up, with a drive through lane. You pull up, they unload, and off you go. All nine trucks were emptied within 15 minutes.

    20181117_114921_HDR.jpg

    The people at the Hope Center were amazing, and very grateful for our contributions. One of the directors there also owned a Taco, so he asked us if we would line up our trucks for a picture. He wanted to put it in their newsletter. So, naturally, we obliged.

    Taco Relief Run 111718a (1 of 1).jpg

    Everyone is standing near their truck. All but John, whose truck barely fit in the last spot. So tight he couldn't open his door.

    Smokey as hell up there, as you might well imagine. But we made do.

    From the Hope Center it was back to Gridley. Anything else we had left went to the fair grounds where the Red Cross has set up a large camp. Human and equine evacuees were being housed there. In most cases Red cross only takes new items. We only had GOOD used items, but as they were being slammed they took everything we had. then it was back to the Gridley distribution center where we started. They had a need to move sleeping bags and pads to a new facility in Yuba City. As half our group was heading back to Sac we volunteered to make that happen. Uphillshunter and twizted headed up to Anderson to take up some items to @Whitebutler . I do believe libations were among that haul.

    Thanks to all of you who made this happen. You're the greatest.

    I have no complaints about the ST Maxx so far. Pretty quiet on the road. Haven't had them in snow yet, though.

    You guys were awesome yesterday! Now this is people that care (like I say it's cause they give a shit about others). It really is a feeling you can't describe. There's not words for it but when you shed a tear I think those who do these things get it. Those who do extraordinary things for others hold a special place. I am forever grateful!

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    I've got so much crap in my pod in Washington I would love to give to people. But in order to rent a place at this point I'll need to sell all that stuff! Prices just keep going up with all these fires.

    Also, buddy of mine just lost his house in the Paradise area. I'm just happy for him it was a rental and nobody was currently renting it.
