    FIFA is actually considering 2 more officials , sort of goal judges like in hockey , that would be positioned behind the nets . You have to keep in mind that they will want to come up with a solution that can be fairly easily adapted to football worldwide , and it's a lot easier to come up with a couple extra officials than to rig all of the goals with cameras etc .

    I have played soccer all my life , and our mens side lost a couple big trophy matches on penalties , in the end , it's the goalie that didn't make the final save or the player that didn't score the last penalty that feels they let everybody else down .

    But as many have said before , the game does need to end at some point .
