I’m also installing the new poly bushings with the thicker half on top, instead of the bottom, to give me another 1/2”.

So 1.5” BL in the end.

I am. I thought it would be pretty foolish to have it all apart and not throw poly bushings in at the same time.

I take that back. I don’t like how little the steering splines engage at 1.5”. Im going to flip the poly bushings and just stick with the 1” BL.

    Energy Suspension?
I kept my oem mounts... but my truck was pretty new when the BL took place.... I have a lot creaks (who doesnt right? Lol) but I think some of them are coming from the body mounts.... I'd like to address it at some point but not sure I'd like/need the extra .5" if it's the Energy Suspension that add another. 5".... maybe I'll go OEM again.

From what I remember, 1" is the max you can do without having to extend other miscellaneous stuff. With 1.5 you might have to extend a few things around the truck. I'm sure you got it all figured out though.

 for final results.... 37s with 1.5" BL + whatever suspension lift you running...
Its gonna look huge (yeah that's what she said)

    Closest I seen in person is @6 gearT444E Ant's with 36s 3" lift and 1" BL

They only add .5” if you flip the bushings top to bottom. If you run the ES bushings as interned, no lift.

OK, I just pulled it apart to see exactly how much spine there was engaged in the connection.

I’m sure some of you already know this, but there is a notch in the steering shaft on both sides of the gap that the bolt fits through.

The upper notch is longer allowing the connector to slide when loosened. The bottom allows for a little movement, but not as much as the top.

It is designed to not pull apart however with the bolts installed.

I tried my air impact with my ARB twin plus 3 gallon tank. I just got a few seconds of good strong impact power, then nothing. Have to wait a couple minutes again to gain enough pressure and flow.

Cordless impact in my non-expert opinion s a better way to go for trail use. At least for me.

A cordless 1/2” impact will anything you need it to do, especially the monster sized ones with 700+ ft/lbs of torque

I bought the big Milwaukee one the other day.... love it so far..... specs claim to be 1400ft/lbs of nut busting torque and 1000ft/lbs of fastening torque

And yeah I said nut busting

Yeah, I've got some 40-50 gallon Plano totes in the back now. Just separated everything in my bed and put it in those. Nice and neat. 3 of them fit perfectly and won't slide around.

I was thinking about something like that, I don’t want anything fancy because I’m still working out what I want to do with the bed I.e. a cap with complete storage system or a high quality tonneau/trifold/roll-up with a smaller storage system or something else

Get the totes and a tyger tri fold cover on Amazon. You'll be in for a total of $200. The drawer systems and such are cool but I want to be able to take everything out quickly.

I already have a cheap tonneau and I’m happy with it but I’m kinda planning for the future since I know I’m gonna be accumulating a lot of tools and hauling in the bed would be a little easier with a cap, at least for me
