Tailgate letter inserts

Not trying to beat a dead horse, but there are so many out there I am unsure what to choose.

Im looking for the raised insert letters that can withstand california heat/sun.

Any suggestions I appreciate.

This was first on my list too. Just wasnt 100% sure about them. What color did you get? Any fading?

 

I got the matte black, looks like day 1 still!

^^^^ What he said. I also have the reflective black on my Tacoma in the norCal evil heat for the last year, and they are excellent.

 

If you go with the Toyota Black Out Kit with the badge overlays, it also comes with the Tailgate letters.

 

The ones from the dealership for $200 lol

 

Are those raised or flat? The reflective aspect is pretty neat.

I wanted 3D plastic inserts, not tape.

Matte black is a perfect match to the rear bumper and fender flares.

Thanks, they do make nice stuff. I have their tailgate letters, vent rings, and glovebox letters.

I cut each letter out individually and dropped them in , much easier than trying to line up the whole strip.

 

How are the vent rings holding up?
