Haven’t posted a pic in a while.

 

Wut?! CVT makes a Maggiolina style hard case roof top tent?!? I had my eyes peeled for a used Maggiolina for a couple years, like 10 years ago. That's a sweet setup you're packing. I've been out of overland game for way longer than I'd remembered.

 

Went on a rescue mission today to get a soldier I had to leave behind last night.

Mission was a Success

 

What happened? You had to leave that poor guy out in the wilderness overnight? Well good thing you got him back!

Sometimes dogs get too preoccupied with dog stuff and dont come back for a bit. Or go too far.

 

She's got ledged up hunting yesterday and by the time we got back to the truck it was dark and snowing and I was soaked, decided it was better to play it safe.

She had gps collar on so she wasn't gonna get too lost.

She was fine.

 

Anyone make sense of this. Early 1st gen Tacoma seats in a later one. Cut the bushing off or? The trim piece won't fit worth a crap with it being this high off the floor. I want to cut it off, but don't know if the seat will be level if I do.

 

Damn that sucks. Luckily you found her. Did you have to search much? Did she stay put or did she wonder off?

 

Looks happy to be back in the warm truck. Did it get as cold down there as it did here last night? It got down to 4 F here. Do you run tracking collars on them?

She basically came to the road and was waiting for me this morning.

Coulda been worse.

Not too bad, pretty warm storm came through last night, so that was good.

And yes she had a collar on

I didn't like making the decision, the fact that it wasn't my dog made it even worse.

But hound dogs are tough and this wouldn't be the first and won't be the last time it happens.
