I just bought a hitch receiver cover and a locking hitch pin that is supposed to fit a 2" receiver...but it doesn't. Am I missing something here?

Should be a 3/4 inch pin that fits in the reciever.

When I got my Tacoma I had to replace my lock because the Tacoma’s recover is double layered and therefore my lock was too short.

Ive had an issue with that pin being too short and I couldn't get the lock on it. It came off my buddies jeep and it worked fine on there

It's a new touch and the pin fits through the receiver, but it doesn't seem to fit all the through enough to get the locking end on.

This one fits, I own it. You can buy a set with a boat trailer hitch lock pin as well.

That could be a problem. I bought a simple one with a cauter pin from harbor freight for 3.99. Works great

I always take mine out I live in the middle of nowhere so it's not the theft issue it's just a shin banger! Even when I'm camping I take it out and put it in the truck.

I had the same problem, bought one, too short, returned it, traded one longer no problems.

I keep the hitch installed, folks that want to tailgate on my bumper will have a major gash
if they get too close to that triple ball.

I need to get one that fits. I have to use the assistance of a C clamp to take my current security one on and off. It fit my 2nd gen but is a little too tight for 3rd gen. I’ve had it over 4 years.

I had the exact same problem and OR Warehouse were baffled by it. I ended up buying the next size up.
