I hate how nervous LBJ's make me... I really need to go long travel so I don't have to worry about them anymore

Only like two kits replace them and you'll still be changing them a lot because uniball lowers will pack up fast with grit

Submerging them in poo water doesn't count as wheeling

Better than a totally flawed OEM design :notsure: and I just wanna do jumps

If you really want to drop the money lol I'd rather carry spare LBJ's/tools and save up for proper LT LCA's

I've gotten pretty proficient at doing the CV axle seal which is most of the same steps sooooo I'll be aight. I usually waste a bunch of time trying to find the flashlight I'm holding and the tool I just had, though :)

I know OEM is the gold standard but Advance has the Moog ones in stock and surely they'll be safer than the ones on the truck.

With the locked rear I can actually hear the play in the ball joints if I accelerate with the wheel turned

Depending on the area that could be right. An 04 DC 4x4 would be in the 12-16k range here in CO for a stock truck.

These trucks are so fucking stupidly overpriced lmao. I was looking and could probably sell mine for what I paid for it back in 2012 (which is pretty rare for any kind of used vehicle)

I looked at a 2004 with a blown transmission, totally destroyed interior (smoked in work truck for its entire life of 350k miles), scratches, dents, broken exterior door handles, and he would not budge from his $5500 asking price. I think he eventually sold it for that too

Looks like it's time to start planning for that ARB bull bar and maybe a couple coil trim packers or some OME coils :D
On a serious note, I'll bet over on 'MUD you'd find someone who has pulled their front bumper and would sell that piece.

Don't tempt me haha. I'm seriously considering selling the taco building this thing mildly, throwing a hard tent on top, and a slee short bus in the front
