    I should really check it out more. I've turned it on a few times.

    I was really impressed how slow it took me down an icy snow covered hill.

    Alright, after looking everything over, I can see why you had hood alignment issues.

    As I’m sure you noticed, the mid and rear bottom ES bushings are 1/2” thicker than the half that’s meant to go on top.

    That’s not the case with the radiator bushings.

    Left is the bottom side body bushing (I’m running it on top). Right is the top Rad support bushing.

    So obviously, if I flip the body bushings and don’t do anything for the rad bushings, there will be issues.

    These two OEM washers that aren’t reused, are perfect to space the rad bushings to match the flipped body bushings.

    I am not. I was talking to Wyatt the other day. Apparently, you’re not supposed to clock our chain driven T-cases because of the oil pickup setup.

    The BL will give me more room to play with getting the sticks to come out where I want them though.

    plenty of room without a BL then... clocking is why I did the BL - it makes a lot of other stuff easier too though...

    I’m mainly doing the BL to help fit the 37s.

    There isn’t plenty of room in an auto. Sticks come out under the front of the Auto shift tower. My current sticks are cut down to nubs where they come through the floor. That’s with my shift tower heavily “clearanced”.

    Of course, with the Marlin, the FJ twin sticks will be pushed back behind the shift tower. I’ll still welcome the extra space to get the Marlin shifter installed.

    How doesn't it know what the tire is driving on, no wonder the new tacomas are 40k. That's about as much a waste of money as the Lexus that parallel parks itself. If you can't a wheel it or park it, leave it in the garage :p

    I used it at AOAA this weekend, it worked really well in a messy hill we all really had to work on to get up made it super easy, is nice on big rocky sections you would need to take slow but is kinda annoying and loud. After driving a regeared manual though I think I'd prefer that...

    I can’t really recall too many specifics at this point. I bought the separate kit for the radiator support that uses wider spacers than what comes in the complete Energy kit. I ditched that fat washer too.

    I also have some fan clearance issues after installing the very flawed DTF solid motor mounts. Messing with the support height would have aggravated this as well. So that’s another thing to look at; how much space there is above and below the fan as it sits in the shroud.

    DMZ send me their motor/trans mounts for the fix. Not a fun job the first or second time.

    That odd...2nd gen tcase is just a revision of the 1st gen platform. Same type of oil pickup and screen. Plenty of clocked 1st gen tcases.
    But on IFS especially when running a non-custom belly skid, there is really no gain to clocking it unless you plan to lift the belly skid?

    1" bl will certainly help when installing the multuple shifters and bases. It'll allow you room to work and prevent a ton of trans tunnel cutting. Which = less custom plate to cover back up and seal.

    Mine I am rotate 15° over stock. Here is a way to fix your oil issues or lack there of: add an extra quart of oil through through the shifter base, mine has been fine for 5+ year since driven to Moab and back. The benefit to a gerotor pump is low NPSH requirements, so don't believe everything you hear on the interwebs.
