So that should put you working Thanksgiving? Do you guys get holiday pay?

 

Sure, our regular overtime like if it wasn't a holiday. We do get 8 extra hours of pay on this check though for the holiday at regular time.

Puts me working Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve.

 

We only get holiday pay Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter day. I'll be in OT for Thanksgiving, so I won't get the "holiday" pay
The 12hrs for Christmas is the day before I go in OT, so I'm ready for that one

 

They changed ours a few years ago after some wanted to bitch and raise hell about not getting paid for the holidays. Back then we got 8 hours of vacation for those holidays instead of being paid for them. So now we don't get the vacation hours for it and just get paid for it. Funny how the ones who were bitching about it were the one's getting the least amount of vacation every year. Now they get even less. Dumbasses.
